I have been having breast tenderness alot latley..i do drink about 3 pots of coffee a day along with caffinated beverages..could this cause my breasts to be tender?

I'm almost 21 and I'm scared to death of the gynecologist! I've been once or twice when I was 15 but I never had an exam. It didn't help that the Dr. made fun of me for being scared, he was really old and I think that kinda freaked me out too! But now I want/need to be on birth control but I have anxiety about going back. I don't know what to do...how can i get over this fear???

ok this is regarding my cousin, yes she lives with me
last night she used her tampon and went to sleep, but forgot to set her alarm. This morning, she woke up late, and told me that she had over worn her tampon for 5 hours! I was shocked, yes 5 hours.
so she wore her tampon for 13 hours (she didn't sleep for that long tho, it's only after the shower)
And now she's shoked, and scared. She doesn't want to tell her parents, because she's afraid.
And now she's got ME scared, so does anyone know if anything bad's gonna happen? like TSS? or symptoms?
Please help, because I have absolutely no idea.

I'm on the nuva ring, so there's no chance that I missed a dose, but I had unprotected sex 22 days ago. I'm on the week where I leave the ring out to have a period, but it's a day and a half late. I have been stressed out lately (fighting with my ex-boyfriend and drinking a lot) and have also lost almost 20 lbs in the last month and a half. Could I be pregnant? or is my period late for other reasons?

yesterday i noticed a burning feeling around my urethra when i urinated. this morning, there was no burning but my urine smelled like latex. this happened to me last year however i just ignored it and it seemed to go away by itself in about a week. i probably got it from not urinating after sex or from wearing tight clothing. right now i am drinking light cranberry juice because thats all i had. should i take a high dosage of vitamin c? and what is AZO? any other tips regarding UTIs would be great thank you.

also, does wearing thongs have anything to do with UTIs. i heard thongs arent the smartest type of underwear to wear however... PANTY LINES. thanks again

Me and my gf had sex 30 minutes after got off the swimming pool, and did not take a shower. I used condom properly. Is there any way, chemicals in the pool did something to the condom that creates risk of getting pregnant???

i swim alot in the summer. my parents are really big on activity, too. i dont really want to learn how to use a tampon but my mom gets mad because i swim so much and i can't swim with a pad. she wants me to use a tampon so i can stay active and all that crap. how do i get her off my case, or should i just learn to use the tampon?

My fiance and I wanted to try something new so I let him ejaculate inside of me during sex.My last "period" was on June 12th..we had sex on saturday June 30th..Was it safe to have sex without having to worry about getting pregnant? When is it ok to have sex during the menestrual cycle and not get pregnant? Should I take a morning after Pill??

I recently had surgery and my doctor put me on antibotics. I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (birth control) for about four years now and I have never had any trouble. I know that antibotics kill the effect of birth control pills and I was fighting nausea so I stopped taking the pill anyway because I knew it had no effect. So I started my period. Only about five days early thanks goodness. Is this bad? I figured when I get off the antibotics in a week I will start a new pack of pills. Is this right? I need advice.

i'm 21 years old. i started my period when i was a freshman in high school. im pretty small for my age too. only about 98 lbs. my question is, is it ok to have irregular periods? mine is a little irregular at times. but other times it comes like clockwork. i know its lame asking this online but i dont have anyone to go to. my mom passed away :( its just ive been thinking about it alot lately since my period was supposed to come and hasnt yet. and iknow for a fact im not pregnant. im worried about things like never being able to have kids and all that. its really starting to scare me. there could possibly be something wrong with me. im too scared to go to the doctors. the unknown can be pretty scary at times. but theres also a possiblilty that im perfectly fine.

I posted a few days ago because I was not sure if I had a yeast infection or bacterial infection.

I've been taking acidopholous pills (3 x per day) do I need to be taking more than that to see better results? So far, they have not helped much. My friend told me she takes 6 a day and sees results.

Anyhow, the problem is I had itching down there and the vuvla was swollen on one side. It is still that way, but I developed two bumps down there now and they are painful. I am prone to cysts and have recently started using new detergent and did wash with a perfumed soap with lotion in it before this started.

Naturally, there is the worry it could be an STD, but I have not slept with my ex since last year.

What is annoying is that I went to see a new MD yesterday (gyno wont be in until tomorrow) and they would not see me cause I did not bring photo ID (??!!) Advice would help, but would you spend money on a dr's office that refuses to see you because of no ID? Advise please.
