i`m wondering if oral and fingering delay periods. my boyfriend just started fingering and performing oral on me recently. it isn't suppose to be my period moment yet, but i`m just asking ahead of time. does it affect my menstrual period if those are done? my period usually start around 13th-18th. if he fingers or perform oral on me near the 13th, will that delay my period?

It won't affect your period either way. It's all connected to ovulation, and that's controlled by hormone levels not behavior.

Yes..... I'm going to say that because everyone else here is really missing some points even the medical student... stay in school doc... you missed a major component of the patient's condition.
You're forgetting some basic psychological rules we're. First of all you just beginning into sexual exploration. The guys doing things to you that you've never had done. This can be extremely stressful while exciting. And that in itself can delay your period. As a matter of fact it's not unusual for women that first experience sexual tension to get very stressed out. This can definitely lead to a period or two missed.
The body is extremely reactive and any stress or abrupt changes can certainly draw for women's period. This is normal and a protective component of one's body.
It used to the new sensations.... in one of your other questions you said you were bleeding because your boyfriend was fingering you... this obviously added stress to your situation.
Be patient here stay calm and your cycle will return

Not tryin to sound rude, but if your not sure weather foreplay and oral can cause a period delay.. then in my oppinion your too young to even be doing these interactions with your boyfriend and probably need to relax and grow a little more before doing so. The most you can do is at LEAST read up on this sheesh, you should know what this can cause. Looks like the only thing your worried about is a late period, well my friend oral can cause herpes. YES it can. read up on it. If he has herpes simplex 1 and gives oral on you , you can get herpes simplex 2 by contact. please be more concerned about what this causes and not silly things like can it cause a later period...think .. for your own health

No that would not effect it at all. Having sex in general does not effect your menstrual period. Its when a penis is used and no protection you risk pregnancy that would throw off your period obviously. Having oral sex and fingering would not obviously make you pregante. So NO you should be fine don't stress it.

No it doesn't delay your period. Unless he's using more than his finger and then you need a pregnancy test.

There is absolutely no way your boyfriend could have gotten you pregnant because he had sperm on his hands. The only way you can get pregnant is through sex, or of course in-vitro or something like that. This whole thing about the sperm on the hands is not true. As soon as the sperm is exposed to the air, the sperm cells die. I promise you now that fingering can NOT cause pregnancy.

No. It won't delay a period. However, having an orgasm while you have your period might help with cramps.
