Women's Health - May 2007

My gf is having breast reduction surgery. The issue we're facing is that I live 3 hours away from her, and I am the only logistic person that will be able to care for her the following week. I will not be able to take off from work that week, so she is wanting me to drive her down on Sunday, (she is having the surgery on a Thursday) and returning on Thursday of the following week. Would this be a safe thing to do??

I've already gone to the Doctor & they took 6 viles of blood & checked for different things. Everything came back normal, but I'm still thin on top. Any suggestions of what I should or shouldn't be eating?! I take a multi vitamin as well as a Vitamin B complex for skin, nails & hair! I'm 36 & female. Please help. Rogain isn't available in this country. I'm in Europe.

i left a meessege earlier saying that i want surgery and people think i am doing it just for fashion. I dont want implants all i want is a breast uplift because they are terribly loose i never seen a woman like this efore and they give me terrible back pains. What other ways can i stop the pain?

I had my period since I was 12 I'm almost 24. Normally I get it every month with out fail. This year it has skipped twice and I have spotting especially during intercourse. I don't want to go back on the pill because I gain a lot of weight on it. I don't want to go to the doctor cause that's all that they will advise. I don't have any stds and I don't know where else to turn. Help!

ive been bleeding dark brown discharge for about 3-4 days with a gap of about a week for about a month.

I just wanted to say thank you all for your responses. I called the dr.'s office and they said if they did a hospital procedure it would be a d&c instead of endo scraping, but she wants to see if I can tolerate the pain in office 1st.

I am scared, but I very much appreciate your suggestions. I couldnt find a way to post back on my 1st question as I am new to this.

I dont see why they just dont remove the cysts and check for cancer afterwards, but then again Im no dr.

I am desperately trying to loose weight but I am also wanting to have my breasts reduced. They are becoming a burden and restrict me at times from certain physical activities such as some excersises. I am contemplating on whether or not to get them reduced first or try to loose the weight first.

Is it normal to bloat 1 to 2 sizes 3 weeks before your next period? I'm a size 5 and maybe a week after my period, I bloat to a size 7 or more. And it stays that way up until my next period when I shrink back down to a size 5. I drink plenty of water and take diuretic pills. Is this normal?

is there any good way to calm down if youre pmsing really bad? i feel like i want to kill everyone and have this deep anger and hatred only when my period comes along. its like im aware that im not rational anymore..but cant stop the feeling. when i was younger i never got like this, barely had any symptoms.. does it get worse with age? is there any natural remedy? any food i can take, excercises, etc? what do you other ladies do to help this?? this cant keep on happening every month.. thanks!!

I am sexually active and I got my period when I normally should but usually my periods are really heavy last about 6 days and I have to use a pad and tampon but this period was only 3-4 days with really light bleed i could use a panty liner...but bleeding none the less.
They say when there is implantation bleeding it is really light...now I have constant cramps and my nipples are starting to get really soar...could I be pregnant or is something wrong?
