Is it normal to bloat 1 to 2 sizes 3 weeks before your next period? I'm a size 5 and maybe a week after my period, I bloat to a size 7 or more. And it stays that way up until my next period when I shrink back down to a size 5. I drink plenty of water and take diuretic pills. Is this normal?

hmmm, i just 'bloat' during the first week before my period and no more after. you might have something wrong with your glands and might want to go see a doctor about it

Bloating is can be caused by 2 things. A weak liver and/or not enough calcium in the diet. Do not take diuretic pills! All medicines eventually weaken the liver.Stay away from carbonated drinks as they strip calcium out of the bones.

Check your eating habits. Get a good source of calcium and start taking it 2 weeks before the onset of your period. Calcium is used by the nervous system for toning and calming and without enough calcium at this time many women report becoming "witches".

I've heard its normal, this doesn't happen to me, but it does happen.

I take Tylenol for bloating, since I seem to bloat your size, but in actuall I don't.....I don't wear my belt, but I don't get near your size.....

Try going to a doctor, I had a bad ovary that made me have horrible PMS times....Just go to a doctor to see if anything is not working properly........I had a twisted tube that made PMS painful for me......I am very glad to be half the woman I was then to go on with the torment that I was enduring month after month.....

Hopefully your symptom is just a symptom and not anything serious, my hubby's medical paid for my surgery, I did so well they released me a day early....

Good luck for you.....
