I'm in my twenties, 5'9 and have a 38D chest... and it is a pain; back pains, sleeping is awkward, they are sore a lot, I'm always self conscious, people stare, I find it hard to exercise, and so on... But I'm terrified of having surgery of any sort, especially cosmetic surgery that is not vitally important... my question is, are the benefits of the surgery worth going through something so intrusive + painful? Or are there alternatives to the surgery? I'm a little bit overweight but not enough to be considered "overweight"; if I lose a great deal of weight, is it likely that a large portion of that weight will be lost from my chest? or does that weight tend to stick?
I'm confused, obviously, because I think life would be easier with a reduction, but I am impressed with those that endure the surgery because it seems like such a painful and difficult thing to go through...
is it a very invasive surgery?
really any information would be greatly appreciated!
