wow. take a breath a calm down. i doubt if the hair is like some serious cancer or something. its probably just hair. try shaving it if it really bothers you. but i would suggest you talk to your mom, sister, aunt, older friend, or someone! also i read on a website one day that most humans have hair over there entire body (its just not as noticeable as pubic hair, underarm hair, etc.) except the bottom of their feet and inside of there hands. so don't be so worried. but as i said before if it really bothers you see a doc.
i started my period at 13 but i know people who didn't start until 16. so don't be so stressed. cutting your wrist is dangerous and it can become your way of "expressing your anger" for the rest of your life! imagine yourself older and having a family and every time you're a little upset yo cut your wrist? wouldn't that be horrible? so please stop. give it a little time and if there is still no sign of your period go see a doc. your doctor can prescribe medicine that could boost you hormones, start your period, and get everything on track.

Some girls start their periods late; you shouldn't be embarrassed about it, although I can understand why you might be. 20 years from now you'll wonder why the heck you were worried about it!! Are you thin? That may cause your period to be delayed.

It's scary that you've cut your wrists just because your period hasn't started yet. That's very extreme. This is my suggestion: at age 15, you're supposed to get your last tetanus booster. You had the others when you were a little kid. You can tell your mom that you need to get that booster and that you want to ask the doctor why your period hasn't started yet. I know you're embarrassed, but that's what your mom is there for. Perhaps you have a thyroid problem, if you're feeling depressed. It's time for a check-up for you anyway, so it's a good reason to go to the doc and find out how you're doing.

BTW, it isn't unusual to have hair around your nipples. If you're dark haired or dark complexion, you may have more than lighter haired girls. Basically that could mean you've reach puberty and your period may start any day now.

It's totally normal to not start your period from 9-18. Everyone is different. Things that can mess with it are low weight, disordered eating, excess exercising, or hormonal disorders. I remember when I went in for my yearly check-ups my doc always asked me if I had started it yet- so if your doctor doesn't ask you, make sure they know next time you see them. They probably won't worry about it yet unless you're underweight.

There are LOTS of girls who are 15 and haven't started it. If anything, be happy! Once you get it it's just painful and annoying. As for cutting your wrists, that's something else. I used to do that, but then people found out, and those close to me were really upset about it. Think about what your mom and you sister would think if they knew! And you can't cover up the scars from that- every time you wear short sleeves people are going to see, and ask what happened. And this will go on forever. I quit that about 5 years ago, but my scars are still as prominent as they were back then. I can't wear a t-shirt without being asked about the scars. Now it's just embaressing, and i hate making up stories about it.

As for the hair around your nipples, most people have hair all over their boobs! In fact, you have hair all over your body- the only skin that doesn't have hair is your palms, soles of the feet, and lips. Everywhere else is covered by hairs, some really fine and some coarser.

The nipple hair, believe it or not, may actually be a sign that you are about to start having your periods. The same hormones that stimulate your body to start growing pubic and underarm hair sometimes stimulate a few hairs around the nipples; it's not really unusual at all. Since you are concerned, I would definitely talk to your mother; she should know that you are worried, and I think that seeing a doctor would help calm your fears. Every person is different; I started having my periods when I was only 12, but my own mother didn't start having HERS until she was 17! Your mother can help; ask her to make an appointment with a gynecologist for you to talk with. I suggest a female gynecologist, so that you won't have the added pressure of dealing with a guy about girl stuff. I suspect you are just fine, but it's always good to get the advice of someone who really knows what they are talking about.

Good luck!

A bit of hair on the breasts and nipples is normal. We have a bit of hair all over our body. It's when it becomes thick and coarse that then it could be a problem.

As for your period, some girls don't start til they are 16 years old. Pls try to relax as it could come at any time.

Also, pls address your concern with your mom so that she can try to help you thru this. She was a teenager once and can help you in a lot of ways to help you adjust to the process of growing up.

the hair thing is very normal and you can start your period at the age of 9-18 and its good to have your period the older the better because its not fun or easy because when you have it its very painful.
