Women's Health - February 2007

Hi,

I was in an accident and had emergency surgery while I was traveling in S. America. I'm fine now but I suspect I might have had a miscarriage during the orderal. Things were conducted in another language and the situation was crazy and I don't even remember much of what happened as I was unconscious most of the time. I didn't know I was pregnant, but that was a possibility. And if I was, I would only have been pregnant for 2 or 3 weeks max. Maybe less. The doctors there mentioned abnormal bleeding and questioned my boyfriend a lot about if I was pregnant. That's why I suspect. This whole ordeal was about 5 weeks ago. Can a gyno still detect if I had had a miscarriage? I want to know for my peace of mind. Thanks.

I'm a freshman in high school. I'm still really short and barely even a 32A. I'm half white and half taiwanese and the women on my father's side (white) all have large chests while my mother is only a 32A. Both sides are pretty short. What're the odds I'll develop more?

My mom is about 330 pounds, very pretty women and very sweet. She is trying really hard to lose weight, in fact she has already lost 20 pounds. She is thinking that a new hair cut will help her confidence and motivate her more. She has long hair, to her bra strap, maybe a little longer. The color is pretty, she doesn't want to touch that (it's brown with gray, looks like she has had it frosted) Her hair is all the same length but it's pretty thin. She doesn't want it too short like to her ears but is willing to go to her shoulders. Also she has a round face if that helps. Please provide detailed ideas or pictures or websites, were going tomorrow to have it cut. THANKS!!!!

I'm not talkin about being a bit clammy when I awake; I mean the night before last, I woke up and thought I peed on myself. My sheets, blanket, pillows, t-shirt and OMG lets not go to the hair, were DRENCHED, almost as if I came out of the shower without a towel to dry off with. NASTY! Please help me.

ok for the past couple nights i have a dream about being pregnant also i keep feeling movement right under my stomach about where the uterus is or whatever. i think its all in my head and that the movements are just my nerves julting or whatever, if so then i think there is something wrong cuz my nerves are julting very frequently any way if anyone knows what is going on plz tell me

I took my nuvaring out on the 21st and I still have had no period...I am worried. I have had nuvaring for 3 months everytime my period came within a day of taking out the ring. Should I be worried about being pregnant?

I had my period in December from the 12-17. And I have no idea when my cycle in January was. As for this month, I haven't had a period yet. But here are some things, my cycle is irregular, this is only my second year of having periods. Also, this past Sat. and Sun. I had three panic attacks. I worry all the time and have been unusually stressed when I normally leave a stressful life. So is it okay that I haven't started yet this month?

I am 23 years old. I have been having some bleeding and I thought it was my period but then it stopped. Well My husband and I were having sex and when we were done he was like oh you must be starting your period because there was like a redish brownish tent. So I am like oh ok. But a couple days went by and no period. Then yesterday when I wipped I had some red blood on the toilet paper so I put a tampon in. But when a took it out several hours later there was No period. And today there is nothing. I started my period last month on the 20th. So I should have it now right? Is this normal ?Does this happen to other women as well?
