I think it sounds silly, but someone told me they heard this to be a fact and that when she told her doctor that her cycle is 7-9 days long he said it was because she didn't drink a lot of H2O

I just found out that I am pregnant, a week over due. I would like to know if any of you out there know of a good herbal remedy. I know that black and blue Cohosh, Penny Royal, & Slippery Elm Bark are some of the herbs that help with that kind of thing, but how much to take for how long? Any other remedies you know of? I dont want to do anything drastic, just a little nudge to possibly get nature to change it's mind.

She started her menstrual just over a year ago, I told her she needs to have a PAP once a year, even though she's not sexually active she can still develope cysts that if they go untreated could leave her unable to become pregnant in the future. She says no way not doing it. Now she needs a physical to join track and field and one of the questions on the form for the doctor is "genetalia". I told her that probably means a female exam including a PAP smear. She says, "fine I won't join track." I told her she needs to get one anyway she may as well get something for it (getting to do sports in highschool) but she says she refuses. When I think about the doctor using the spectrum on her I cringe, she has made a promise to God to wait to have sex until she's married, so this may sound crude but , I don't want anything (inserted) nothing at all until her wedding night. My question to you guys is... do they do a PAP in a sports physical? Do you think she needs one and how do I convince her?

Ok. I've haven't yea for 7 months. But since the 7 months I've only got my period twice. I don't have signs or symptoms of if I can be pregnant. But yea it's been a while since I haven't got my period. I know I should get cheaked but I haven't but I will. So yea what's wrong with me?

I am going on 6 weeks pregnant. At the begining of the week I went to the ER because I was spotting brown blood. The did an ultrasound and saw a gest. sac and a yolk sac, but the doc. said the heartbeat was a little slow and I have bleeding around the placenta. I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage. I called my doctor the next day and he basically just told me to rest and not have sex, he didn't want to see me or recheck my blood levels. He just said call back if bleeding gets heavy. Well the bleeding didn't get heavy but I am still spotting brown all day, everyday. Not enough I need to wear a pad or anything, but it is always there when I wipe after using the bathroom. I has been going on for four days now. Also my lower back has started to hurt. I was wondering how much longer until I miscarry or has it happened already with just the spotting?

Can I stop wearing pads , I'm 13 and my periods usually last 5 days but on the 6th day, it usually gets the spotting stuff, ok well after the spotting i get brown goo and this is normal I asked me mom, but i was wondering if i could stop wearing pads during this goo "phase" because it gets less and less every time i go to the bathroom, its just there when i wipe, and now its like barely see able, should i wear a pad or go "free" or will it like leak or whatever.

Last month i was missing my birth control pills so much that i was bleeding every other week. My doctor told me to stop taking them and start over after my next period. Last month, the first day of my last period was January 22. I still haven't started and my body is feeling really wierd, like im getting the flu!!! Im sore all over, i have cramps, i can't stop drinking orange juice (because it taste like ice cream to me!!), i can't stop peeing, and in the morning my mouth tastes like pennies. Am i just being paranoid or is something really going on?!?

I had just started the pill about 2 weeks ago as a Day 1 starter, however 7 days into it I could not take the nausea from it and I just stopped. Now it seems my period is here a week after it ended? When will it stop? And when it does will I be regular again?

My gynocologist has recommended a D&C because of excessive uterine bleeding, the presence of precancerous cells (whatever those are), and polyps. What does the procedure include? Is it painful? What is the recovery time? I was upset at the doctor's office, so I didn't ask any questions.

I had my first period in November and it came out like I was explained it was supposed to, but then in December there was hardly any blood, and I haven't had my period from January yet. I don't know what's going on, and I'm a little scared to have a talk with my mom AGAIN, so I'm not sure what I should do. Is it normal to have a late period? How late should it be? What if I skip it completely? What if I stop having my period at all?

Could you still get pregnant if you have your period that comes evey 21 days and last for 7 days? Ok, I got my period for one month that came in Feb 11, 07 then the next I get it for 2 month that would come in mar 3, 2007 then i'll get it on mar 23, 07. This cycle repeats it self I get It one month then I get It twice a month .I'm not on birth control I've been getting my period since 2004. I'm 13 years old I'm just curious about this. Because I keep reading about how the Estrogen promotes blood coagulation and there have been cases of otherwise healthy young adults collapsing from blood clots or strokes due to being on birth control. So I am scared to go on it even though the chances are like 1 in 100,000 or something like that. So just wondering what to do.
