I had just started the pill about 2 weeks ago as a Day 1 starter, however 7 days into it I could not take the nausea from it and I just stopped. Now it seems my period is here a week after it ended? When will it stop? And when it does will I be regular again?

I would suggest that you switch from your current pill, Ortho Tricyclen, that has 35 micrograms of estrogen to a 20 microgram pill (Alesse, Levlite, Loestrin 1/20 or Mircette). This could be beneficial with regard to your nausea which is felt to be an estrogen-mediated side effect.

Your period started because you discontinued the pill and the hormone levels are trying to get regulated. As far as when it will stop, should by 7 days and as far as regular again, give it a month. Many times people don't have regular pills before they start the pill so regular is relative. Hope this helps!

once you start taking birth control your body relies on them to tell it when it needs to start you period. The period should be just like a regular one...count like you usually do for the next one but it might be a little off because of the horomones...might take a month os so to get back to normal.

It shouldn't be more than a week. If it is talk to your DR. Does your DR know you stopped?
