I know that estrogen in HRT reduces hot flashes, prevents bone loss, and may even improve memory but it raises the risk of blood clots and ovarian and breast cancer. What can be used instead to meet the demand for HRT without subjecting women to its risks?

Sometimes when my boyfriend and i have sex, if he thrusts too hard it really hurts, like he can't put it all in, it usually only hurts when i have got, or just finished my periods? I had a pap smear some time ago and the doc said it was perfect. Would infertility show up in a pap smear?? help please......

this has never happened before except for today..so Im a little curious. After work I was really angry and of course started sweating bc all this month I have been stressed non stop about multiple things. So when I got home and was starting to take off my white shirt I noticed where i had sweated in my underarms was pink. I thought it was just the fact that the shirt was practicly see through and it was just showing my skin. When I took it off..the pink color was still there. I have never heard of this before and Im wondering if anyone knows what it may be??

Ok on December 11, which was a week ago Monday, I started experiencing pain in my lower right belly, down in the pelvic region. I waited until Thursday to go to the docotor although the pain lasted until Wednesday, (I was not experiencing pain on Thursday). I saw my family doctor she did some tests, and a pelvic exam. She thought it was a ovarian cyst, which I had one in the past. To be safe she wanted me to get an ultrasound done, which was done yesterday. Today they called me and told me they wanted me to talk to the doctor about the findings of the ultrasound. I don't have a regular gynecologist, so they schedualed me to see someone and I can't see him until Jan 4. My question is if it was really serious, wouldn't they schedual me sooner, my other question is if its not serious why can't she just tell me over the phone?

I'm not too familiar with how girls function so... i'm really curious how this works, i know teenage and those hormonal changes in the body cause some shift in the moods etc, but my question is where do you draw the line? Heavy moodswings, at least one per day, are these normal for a 18 year old female? Is it one of those "teen" things? (If when she got her first period makes any difference, she's had it for 7 years)
If normal, then when do they stop if ever?

First let me say that i am not stressed out or on any birth control. Last month i bled for two days and lightly spotted for a couple days. and this month i bled for a day and a half, then after 3 days of nothing i had blood once and spotted a couple times. Does anyone know what might cause this?

Okay so I have an issue with my cycle. I took Plan B (the emergency contraceptive) on the 11th because of a condom issue with my bf. Well, i didnt have any problems until I woke up on Sunday (17th) and i was really dizzy and couldn't see straight. I got up and went to the bathroom to find my period (two weeks early). It is exactly like a period, today is the 4th day and its light like it would be ordinarily. I've ever been irregular. Do you think that Plan B caused two periods in one month? I took a pregnancy test also and it was negative. I'm just really confused. Does anybody have any experience dealing with Plan B?

I have been on the pill for many years now due to the fact that I am a hemophiliac, and it helps thicken my blood so I don't hemorrhage every month when I have my period (I also get transfusions of platelets the day before hand, but that’s beside the point).
Due to several D&C's I've had done recently due to hemorrhaging, my doctor wants to put me on the highest dosage of Birth Control Hormones as possible.

However, I am hesitant because breast cancer runs in my family. My hematologist and GYN have told me that the benefits outrun the risks, but I am still hesitant.

Any opinions on the matter?

I have been on the shot (Depo Provera) for 4 years and a lot of people have been telling me to get off of it for many reasons. I dot know anything about the pills that are available. Please tell me which one works good for you I am 23 years old. I have read the info on a lot of pills but I dont know which one to choose from. I was on the pill before for a couple of months and I stoped using it because it made me break out with acne and I am affraid that that is going to hapend again.

I already tried going to Planned Parenthood, who directed me to my county hospital. The hospital was rude and didn't give me any helpful information, or even seem to understand what I was asking. I have called them several times and tried several departments, with no luck. I have been told that I am too young (almost 30) to have it done, but I know this is what I want. I feel like I have run out of options and I'll just have to wait until I'm 50! By then, I won't even have to worry about getting pregnant anymore! It's not fair! Anyone else have this problem? What should I do? PS- I have tried all other birth control options, and I can't handle the side effects anymore.
