Assuming that pregnancy isnt a possibility, it happens, and you dont need to worry about it. Sometimes it takes a while for the body to get into a regular cycle;

Ignore Mark B! It is perfectly normal, as other people have said in their replies....it can take a couple of years for your body to settle into a regular pattern. You are 100% normal! Just keep some stuff with you at all times, in case one starts when you are out...

oh, don't worry & dont listen to Mark b!! a girls period can take years to fully regulate... (usually they are regular after 18 years of age) so if you skip & didnt have any sexual intercourse you dont have to worry its normal. missed periods, too frequent periods, spotting, or bouts of heavy clotting and bleeding are usually caused by an underlying hormonal imbalance that is easily treated. a woman may get her period only one to four times a year. Or she might have periods that occur two to three times in a month and involve spotting or extremely heavy flow.
dont worry about it :]

Don't worry unless you have had unprotected sex. Your body takes time to adjust to the new hormone levels, it can be up to 2 years before you fall into a regular pattern.

It just takes a while to settle down, it's completely normal to have one then not even have another for a year. Don't worry it will settle down and then you'll be wishing it had stayed irregular!!!! Just read Markb's answer, he's talking pants!!

honey, it can take up to 3 years for a girls period to become irregular. some girls periods never regulate. talk to your mom or call you doctors offfice if you are worried.
if you havent had one since july, you should at least talk to your doctor. there's probably nothing wrong though.
GOOD LUCK SWEETIE!!!

It could be an indication of polycystic ovary sydrome, when you have very irregular periods. However if your really concerned only a doctor would know.
