I've always had a lot of healthy hair on my head.
Recently I've been loosing hair like crazy - within last 2 months I've lost about 25% of my hair. I'm a 33 year old female in good physical condition.
What can be causing it?

i have been asking some lots of advice on here about smears and went to my docter and she looked at my file and she said eveything is ok even though i got abnormal smear but what if she is wrong what would happen if she is telling me all is ok and there is nothing to worry about would you just get on with it and do as she says or still have fear at the back of your mind

My great aunt was dignosed with it. It is one of the worst kinds of cancer to have, because most cases aren't detected until the 4th stage. If anyone has any information about this cancer please let me know. We are having a hard time dealing with this, becasue there is 95% chance we are going to lose her. www.ibcresearch.org

I've cut the carbs, i eat smaller amounts of food thrice a day, work all day (i'm a sales associate), and walk at least 30 mins. everyday. I want to drop at least 5 lbs in a month, but still, i'm not seeing any results. :( any idea as to why this is so?

Ok Im really really sad because ive been playing volleyball for 4 years and tried out for the team at my skool and so did some of my friends that never played be4. They skipped pushups and stuff and I did everything right and they're kinda bad. They all made the team and I didnt even make manager. It's hard to stay happy when Im around them and I broke down and cried in front of one of them. How do I cope I cry almost everytime i see them!

Ok...I have Bi-polar, I can't take meds because I have to work. When I used to take meds I was a zombie. ( I've been through 4 doctors) Anyone have any idea what I can do other than meds...I'm ruining my marriage but I can't be a zombie. I can't remember the last time I was this moody, it's not usually like this. I'm also much more achy and have a constant headache. I feel either like I want to constantly cry or I'm very angry all the time. Why is it so much worse this time???

I get very painful cramps on the first day of my period each month. I have been to see the dr, and have a prescription for medication that doesn't seem to do much. It does not relieve the pain completely, and it takes around half a day for it to start to feel some relief from it. Needless to say it is very difficult to do my day to day things, when I'm laying in bed with pain. I also get nausious, and if I do not take the medication get very ill (throw up, shakes, hot/cold)I have told my doctor how this medication affects me (or doesn't affect me) and he doesn't seem to think it is a big deal. Yes, the med help but its not enough I can't continue to take time off work/school every month.

I have heard of women taking birth control pills to eliminate their periods all together, is this something I should be thinking about? What are the pros and cons?
Of course I will discuss it with my doctor before any final decision is made but I was just wondering what my options are.

I've had my 2nd miscarriage about 2 wks ago, married for 9 mos., 1st m/c ended cuz of low progesterone levels and the second m/c remains are now at the lab to be researched .
