I have never had a medical abortion so I can no tell you if they are painful or not. But, a surgical abortion is where they go inside the uterus with instruments. Medical abortion is when you take a pill, unsure if it is a suppository or not, and it causes you to have an abortion. Medical abortion can be done ususally only in early pregnancys. Your doctor should be able to tell you which is best for you.

Dont listen to thier answers....I am right...medical abortion involves taking pills.

A medical abortion is when you are given a medicine and you spontaneously abort. A surgical abortion is when the doctor goes in and extracts the baby. Here is some info you should know. When doing a late term abortion he gives you suppositories like tampons and you put them in you one day they dilate you then you go in again and get more and put more in and it dilates you more. Then you go in and he pulls the baby out until his head is just poking out and he takes long scissors and pokes them into the head above the neck and opens them, thus scrambling the babies brain. Then he pulls the baby out. If he leaves the head just inside while doing this it is not murder, but if the baby's head is delivered then it would be murder. Always research procedures before having things done.

I Think ASurgical One Is When The Feotus Is Over 3 monts.

I'm Sure that the bigger the feotus gets, the more painful it is to have aborted, (After eards that is) you get a local while its happening.

Medical usually means for a medical reason, such as the baby is already dead or won't make it. Surgical is more by choice and it depends on whether you get a shot inserted into the embryo to kill it or you get it sucked out. Either or doesn't really hurt you that bad, as long as the baby is under two months or so.

medical is with medication that basically gives you a miscarriage. it is less invasive but be sure to have something for the pain. I know a girl who did this and we thought she was dying until we got her a T3.

Usually the medical one is done with a vaccum like tube or a pill (Ru486 or some other one). The other involves cutting the fetus out.

in a medical one they give you pills to take for 3 days and you get your period and abort the baby at home...in sugical they vacum everything out at a doctors office and it taked about 10 min..if your getting one do sugical...quicker and less painful
