Steroid injection is probably the treatment of choice but alternatively you should try using good comfortable arch inserts. You could also do twice daily gentle massage of the instep and arch areas. - Talk to a Podiatrist - A good steroid injection may make it go away for good.

Visit a podiatrist for a custom orthotic. Made my problem go away.
