Let me start by saying I am 24 and not going through menopause. I am not sure if this is considered a hot flash or something else. Its 1:14 and I am really sleepy right now but can't sleep coz I have so much of heat emitting from my body. Its like I am actually sleeping on a furnace. I have the air on as cold as I can and have the fans running and still can't sleep. This happens to me pretty often. If i try to cool myself down by sitting in front of the fan, then I get way too cold....which I don't mind but I can still feel all the heat emitting from my face. I just took some OTC pain killers about an hour ago, so I'm not sure if that could coz this, but I need some sleep. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Please help. Thanks.

We just recently started having sex. I think that most people are aware that a lot of women do not climax through intercourse alone, but he expressed a desire to make me come this way, and I let him know that I wanted it to happen too. We tried manual stimulation, and oral sex for a while. I tried to communicate to him in detail what I liked, but I guess I just wasn't getting through. Then I tried to finish myself off, but I was kinda tired at that point and felt under pressure to perform. It doesn't bother me that I wasn't able to come, but he seemed to have taken it very personally. I don't have an orgasm every single time, and I don't think that most other women do either. I have never faked an orgasm, but I wonder if I should have just to have spared his feelings. I would not give him a difficult time if he wasn't able to get it up, so why was he a total baby about this -- or was it my fault; did I lead him on somehow by telling him I wanted to come.

I had sex recently for the first time in about a year and a half. (A condom was used, of course.) Intercourse was rather uncomfortable and painful, and I started itching and burning the next day. I started getting an icky discharge and realized that I had a yeast infection. I am using Monistat 3 now and I am on the second day of treatment. This is not the first time this has happened -- he is my fourth sexual partner and I have gotten yeast infections in the past after not having had sex in a while. Am I maybe allergic to the condoms? Is the friction irritating my vagina and causing this? Does this happen to anyone else? Unfortuntely, I can't get in to see my doctor until the end of next month to find out more.

Mom (65) is diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse, she got fever as a young girl. Recently she is having problems with excessive sweating, heartbeat, and very heavy depression. Does anybody have experience with this? I wonder if she could travel by plane without troubles, and start light work out?

She is very open minded about things and is really wild, but I think she's holding herself back. Any suggestions? Not looking for whips and chains, but a BJ or some back door would be nice again some time. She has done these things and enjoyed them, but gets ashamed or weird after and says it's something she doesn't think she wants to do again. What does that mean. And ladies, before you jump on me, I'll let you know that I attend to her special needs often and well. I just want her to lose her inhibitions a bit more.

I am having weird problems with my period... It stays on for as long as two weeks, and then after that it seems to come and go very lightly all the time.
I am really nervous to go to a gynecologist because I had a traumatizing experience as a teenager and ever since then I hate any strangers touching me. I tried twice to go to a gynecologist in the past (once I was forced to go when I was a teen) and both times the doctor couldn't go on with the examination because I was too panicked.
Any advice on what to do? No wisecracks PLEASE, I'm embarassed enough as it is! :(

i have just began birth control pills.(for 9 days now)..i feel nauesous,with headaches almost all day..im also cramping (menstrual like) like my period is coming
but i had my period a week ago...is that normal..also i have been having what i think is breakthrough bleeding..its only noticable if a tampon is inserted,and when its removed its a very small amount in the same area on the same side....sometimes when i wipe a small amount is there is this breakthrough bleeding...im 15 and my mother is unaware im taking BC ( i took the initiative to be safe with sex) so i cant ask her...dont judge me, at least i was smart enough to protect myself unlike other teens
im not worried about STDs..ive only been with one person and hes been tested out. hes also my Fiance ( i kno im young,but im very mature and independent for my age)
