okay heres my problem i came out of hospital today from delievering my baby boy on monday when i just got outside my door my nose started bleeding on the left nostrel and only the left nostrel lasted perhaps a minute or 2
then it didnt come back till 3hrs later and the same thi9ng happened again what could that mean could i be something delayed from my labor(i had a natural labor) any ideas much apprechated
also i am never common 2 get a nose bleed at all unless i bang my nose or something and also when i have my nose bleed i feel a bit dizzy and jus before it happens i have this headache feeling
i had all my checks before i left my blood pressure was fine
when i was in hospital i was getting my anti d jag and also another jag i think it was a hormon jag or vitamin k am not entirely sure what it was

the cost of becoming a CPR/AED instructor through the American Red Cross? I'd like to be able to instruct a class on CPR/AED and first aid for the professional rescuer. I was wondering if anyone is one or knows the information and cost on how much it would cost through the Red Cross.

I just took a drug test for a job and tested positive for marijuana. I drank a bottle of detox and followed the directions exactly on the bottle before I went. I got a call today saying that my levels were extremely high. (I do smoke alot) I have to take another test for a different job now. Has anyone had success with certain brands/methods?? I prefer not to use the synthetic piss you heat up.

are there any places that will give me money for my blood I always hear about them on TV and what not but Ive never seen one.

I have No serious illness what so ever
I have No STDs
A Positive

I have donated before (At school and stuff) So i know my blood is good enough.

and If i find a place how much do they tend to pay.

I have hives! So I went to the doctor today after having very bad itching and me not knowing what I have since Tuesday night. I do not have to big red bumps on my skin but the doctor said that there just not showing but I do have it. I've tried using caladryl and I've been taking medicine for allergies and benadryl but I don't know if it is helping because I'm still really itchy. I have not done anything different then what I usually do with allergies and I don't even know if this is allergies.
The doctor gave me a prescription and I get to the pharmacy and my insurance doesn't cover it! What am I do to? Suffer? They say that it last up to 6 weeks! What do you recommend to do to stop the itching?

Somebody close to me has died in the last 4 weeks.
The person was 34 years old, had no previous illness.
She was out walking the dog with her boyfriend, she then apparently collapsed and died later.
An autopsy has been carried out but it is uncertain what caused her death, further investigation will be done to try to establish why she died.
I would really like to try to understand how a young person could just collapse & die without any reason.
I would have liked to have asked somebody from the medical sector but i know physicians have no time to try to explain, they have their patients & thats understandable.
So i am hoping by writing on here that somebody could give some kind of inkling why this happens and what could possibly have caused it?

My wife was rushed to the hospital last night, because she was just sitting there and all of a sudden she was hit with a 103 temperature, and started passing out/throwing up. I've been with her all night, and am home for lunch break now.

She had Pneumonia last week, and just got over it a few days ago.

Now, they are wanting to do a Spinal Tap on her? They want to test her for Menigitis?

Any info about a Spinal Tap and Menigistis is apperciated.

MY dad's doctor is not doing his job, he is suppose to make appointments to see specialists and he will not tell my dad anything, even refuses to see him. It is serious medical conditions that require immediate attention, he is even make the decisions for my dad without consulting him. How or who can I get to get the doctor to co-operate and get things done? please help!!!! before it's too late.

I am going to India for 3 months, mainly Goa, and have found out that malaria is on the increase. I have been advised by a couple of British nurses who work in India that there is little point in taking anti-malarial medication as it is by no means 100% effective, has side effects and can delay diagnosis and treatment of specific strains of Malaria. I have taken malaria tablets many years ago, cannot remember which ones, and did experience very nasty side effects. Would your advice be to take them or not? If I decide not to then what symptoms should I look out for in order to get an early diagnosis? I will of course take every precaution against mosquito bites.

My HMO sent me a letter that my doctor must find a less expensive drug for my hypertension but it's name brand and I called and was told my doctor can find a generic one to do the same result.

Put in call to docs office will discuss next appt. Called my pharmacist and was told that Diovan doesn't have anything in it's class that is cheaper or generic. Was told Diovan is interchangeable with Cozaar which is in the same class but it's the same price and no generic.

If you had to change from Diovan to something cheaper what was it? and how did the change go?

I can't take beta blockers or ACE inhibitors so I might have to pay a couple hundred bucks a month if I can't find anything.

Ok so I'm 19 years old, I'm very healthy and go to the doctor for all kinds of check ups every few months... I have like 2 or 3 tiny little bumps on my left Areola, i can see one with a white tip and it looks like a nipple. The pain is mild, but is more painful when I touch it... I DON'T WANT TO POP it... taking deep breathes for about twenty seconds, then hold your breath and have somebody push on your chest till u pass out (only for a couple seconds). then a couple seconds later u feel really f**ked up for about a minute (in a good way) can that kill you?

I am a nail biter when I am stressed and I really don't want to be. I try very hard not to touch them as I usually have nice length to them. Can anyone and everyone tell me the germs associated with nail biting? I know its supposed to be dirtier then licking a toilet seat but thats not what i want to hear, I want real risks and real facts! thanks!!!:)
