Does'nt sound like it. The common symptoms of strep throat include: 1. Severe and sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms. 2. Pain or difficulty with swallowing. 3. Fever over 101 F; (lower fevers may indicate a viral infection and not strep.) 4. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck. 5. White or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils. 6. Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth at the back near the throat. 7. Swollen tonsils, although this symptom may also be caused by a viral infection. (In teenagers, mononucleosis can cause a severe sore throat that looks like and has symptoms similar to those of strep throat.) 8. It is easy to tell when you have a sore throat or a cold. It is harder to know when you have strep throat. Generally, sore throats are caused by a viral infection and not strep bacteria. Strep throat usually does not occur with cold symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, or a runny or stuffy nose. The more cold symptoms you have, the less likely it is that your sore throat is a strep infection. 9. In some cases of strep infection, a skin rash develops and spreads over the neck and chest and eventually over the whole body. The rash feels rough like sandpaper. This condition is called scarlet fever. Scarlet fever is treated with antibiotics, which usually lead to a quick recovery. Scarlet fever is not dangerous if treated.

Ok I got this from a doctor, as I used to get strep throat a lot I mean 2-3 times a month. sometimes.
Take 2 aspirin in a glass of warm water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and a tablespoon of salt, mix with spoon until all is dissolved and gargle, once or twice a day.
Now be warned, the taste alone will kill your taste buds for a few minutes, but it works on helping your throat get better.

Strep throat is an opportunistic bacterial infection. you always have strep living in your nose throat and skin. the best way to avoid it is to wash your hands frequently, keep yourself hydrated, get good sleep and eat healthy. This bacteria takes a hold when we are run down.
When you have it make sure you cover your nose and mouth when you cough and sneeze and then WASH YOUR HANDS. I can't stress the washing your hands thing enough. If you are experiencing signs of Strep throat, get to gpcas and they will probably give you some sort of AB'S

A bacteria causes it. You get it from touching door handles, phones, other people. Just washing your hands better and not putting things in your mouth is really all you can do.
I used to get it all the time when I was younger. But your body eventually develops an immunity to it. I haven't had it for probably 10 years and never had to get my tonsils taken out.

No garlic will irritate more. Just gargle with luke warm water mixed with quarter teaspoon of table salt three to four times a day. If Homeopathic medicine is available near you, please take Haper suit 200 and use three times a day.

Lot of liquids, i.e water, gatorade, powerade, etc..
I get it all the time, but passing it without biotics will probably get you in a lot of trouble, doctors will have to poke you with shots near your elbow, so you have the freedom to take no medicane, but also have a risk of taking the consequence.
