Somebody close to me has died in the last 4 weeks.
The person was 34 years old, had no previous illness.
She was out walking the dog with her boyfriend, she then apparently collapsed and died later.
An autopsy has been carried out but it is uncertain what caused her death, further investigation will be done to try to establish why she died.
I would really like to try to understand how a young person could just collapse & die without any reason.
I would have liked to have asked somebody from the medical sector but i know physicians have no time to try to explain, they have their patients & thats understandable.
So i am hoping by writing on here that somebody could give some kind of inkling why this happens and what could possibly have caused it?

I was in the Nursing field for many years and I can tell you that no one dies for 'no reason'. Usually some type of heart malfunction, stroke, or seizure from the disease is a likely cause.
Practioners (doctors) can sometimes miss a diagnosis on routine testing, or if the patient does not complain of symptoms there would be nothing noted in a medical history.
I am really sorry for your loss; perhaps speaking to the Medical Examiner (with a family member), might give you some insight.
Sometimes in life we shouldn't focus on why a person passes away, but we should focus on celebrating their lives and how they have touched ours.

their are numerous reasons that a healthy person can die suddenly with little or no warning. most of the time it's an aneurysm, or a sudden cardiac arrest. they would have found an aneurysm in the autopsy. I would think that it was a sudden cardiac arrest. unfortunately this can happen at any moment with few symptoms prior to the event. They can happen to anyone I'm sure you've heard of people collapsing at the gym or while playing a sport, a lot of times we find people in their house who it looks like they just stopped half way through eating or getting dressed. I wish i could tel you something different, but sometimes they just don;t know what happens.

That's very sad. A young person could die from any number of things: a heart defect, an aneurysm, a blot clot to the brain, etc, I hope that the cause of death can be found.

Souinds like heart failure.
Hey, when I was 18, I saw a school friend sitting on the railroad tracks one hot day.

I passed by, but later learned that he died, sitting there, from heart failure. At 18.

It does happen.
You'll just have to wait for the autopsy report.

Unfortunately, this topic is really beyond the scope of a forum like this. There are so many reasons and that will lead to furthr questions, etc...Make an appointment with a Psychiatrist or counselor, and they can sit and talk with you.

So many things could be attributed to her death. Heart, aneurysm, anaphylactic shock to something, etc. So sorry to hear about someone so young dying. Hopefully the followup will give you a clue.
