I have had a problem with fainting in the past and have been diagnosed with low blood sugar, but that is not the case now. I eat and make sure that I am testing my blood sugar daily and I am fainting sometimes 3 times a day. The first time it happened I tested my blood sugar and then ate. After that I was cautious with standing up thinking it may be blood pressure. Close to the evening around the time I went to bed, I passed out 2 more times back to back. I have even gone to taking iron vitamins thinking that I may be anemic because of my heavy flow during the month.
I live alone and have no relatives in the immediate area that can come check up on me. I have no insurance and really don't want to pay for a doctors visit let alone an ambulance bill.
I just need to know what could be the cause.

I would like your opinion on this subject. I have been a waitress for 8 years and I have a lot of back and leg pain from work. I had some hydrocodones left over from a broken toe and i found when i take them when i get home from work, it helps me be able to take care of the housework, laundry, cooking, ect.

I work very hard, i am married with 1 child and 1 stepchild and i waitress 5-6 days a week(anyone who has waited tables i a large, fast-paced restaurant knows how hard it can be on your body), i go to college, and I take care of all the housework and I find that when I take hydros, they help with all the back pain i have and help me get more done.

I dont take them all the time, maybe a couple times a week but i have explained this to my doctor, she wont give me any. I dont think i am abusing them. i dont see the difference in taking hydros than in people who take xanex for stress or anti-depressants. how do all these people i know who arent even in pain get them and how do i

My lifelong dream is to be a nurse; the problem is I am hard of hearing. Do they make Stethoscope for the hearing and impaired? I am sure I am not the only hard of hearing person who wants to enter the medical field, so if anyone has a solution or suggestions please help!

I noticed that everytime I drink water, whenever I swallow it, I feel lightheaded for a split second. I ask other people if it happens to them and their reply is always like "...? no? you're weird" but I'm really curious as to why this happens to me.

I tried looking it up a while ago but I couldn't find any answers on google, so I want to see if any of you guys have any explanations. I hope so :/

I asked this question before but it was outdated. I was holding a piece of sheet rock from a wall( Yea, my school is a piece of crap) and my friend punched through it. It broke and I felt my thumb crack backwards. For two days, the pain was at the base of my thumb and where my thumb connects to the palm. It was managable but it still hurt. I couldn't move my thumb down all the way too.

However earlier I pushed down on the base with pain and cracked it. After 5 seconds, I could slowly move thumb to my palm and I basicly was pain-free.

What the hell happend here?
