It's more like a hobby than a problem.

I commend you. I feel for you during your time of withdrawl. But, it not only is physical, but psychological. You are changing the chemical input into your system. People say that there are not any physical withdrawl symptoms when you quit pot. Bull Sh*t!! Your head is placing you into a depression, because pot is a depressant chemical--it reacts differently, in the physical sense, than other addictive substances. I know that sounds odd, but that is how it works. Get outside into the sun and do something active.
Good work!! If you think you need help, call NA. Seriously. The symptoms will pass!! They really will, and things WILL get better! YOU MUST quit cold turkey...weening is crap...youre still smoking it.

I smoke. I get high. No problem! LOL
Dude, how can you smoke that much. I use a quarter oz. a month. Time to face REAL life. Are you that bored? Cause that's all weed is good for....it makes being bored OK.
Do cut back slowly. While not technically physically addictive, it is very mentally addictive. But, there is a lot of nicotine in weed, so that's a lot of the withdrawal problem. Good luck.

Yes my bf HAD a problem. I know its not a long time but, hey you have start somewhere. He hasn't smoked since 4/20 and he had been smoking for about 5yrs now. So, he hasn't smoked for 13 days. And he would smoke religiously everyday about 2-3 times a day. But he quit because he noticed that his life wasn't going in a good direction and well I gave him an ultimatum.

Back in the day I had a buddy who would get physically sick for a few days after quiting. He would throw up and sleep all day. I'm talking sick. Your body gets used to it. Headaches, problems eating and sleeping, and upset stomach are all normal problems coming down off a habit like that. The withdrawal period only lasts like 2 weeks. That's pretty fast compared to cigarettes, coffee, or alcohol. Good Luck.

Marijuana isn't physically addictive, but when you've got a habit like that it is hard to break. I had a friend who smoked everyday after work to relieve the stress of the day. When he quit it was very hard because he didn't have his usual "downtime" that he was used to. He relapsed a few times before he was really able to completely break the habit. Just keep trying and find something fun to do during your regular smoke breaks to keep yourself occupied so you don't think about it all the time.

hi, i only started smoking when i found out my mum had cancer, crazy i know, but ill give it up but the odd joint helps me to relax and heightens my sexual feelings , i hate the smell and taste of it ,but the relaxation it gives me is rewarding,as i,m shy and have no one to talk to, this helps me about twice a week after the kids are in bed.
