My friend told me that prenatal vitamins make your hair and nails and skin look better. Is that true? My mom said that they do, but that they may also increase your appitite. Is that true? I'm not pregnant. I just wanted to take them for beauty purposes, energy purposes and immunity puposes.

Recently when I try to lay down and go to sleep I get right to the point of dozing off then suddenly I wake up. As if I had a panic attack, and my hearts racing. Then I begin to feel somewhat astral projecting, as if I'm not in my own body anymore.

But the main point is I haven't had a good nights sleep due to this problem.

Now lately, I've been feeling light headed easily and somewhat out of body. I get light headed and dizzy. And at night it still happens.

Iunno if I'm just dehydrated or what, but any shots on this would be deeply appreciated!

I've been feeling terrible since last night, I just took my temperature and it was 103.5. Thats really bad right? No ones home, I need to bring this fever down. I already took a rather cold bath...but it didnt seem to help.

I just got a job I really want and found out they require drug testing. I'm worried because, about a year ago, I was hospitalized for 3 days for severe depression. At that time they tested me, and the test came back positive for marijuana. I don't smoke pot and I'm not around anyone who does! I finally convinced my shrink that I don't, but she was pretty skeptical for a while. She never did run another test to check, unfortunately.

I'm hoping it was just a fluke or a lab mix-up, but I'm freaking out because I'm worried that maybe something I eat or meds I take might cause a false-positive result. I take Klonopin, Lexapro, omega-3 fish oil, and a multivitamin with one herb in it (lutein - tagetes erecta flower). Other than that, I can't think of what might cause this, except for it being a fluke or mix-up that one time.

Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions, etc.? Thanks.

It lasted longer and were heavier before. It was dark red, then it became lighter and then finished. I have this problem for five months.

I am not using birth control pills.

I have just been diagnosed with Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and the stuff I've been reading is freaking me out. It suggests that the damage to my oesophagus is permanent and now I'm scared to eat anything. Any diet advice please?

I'm taking my 7 yr old daughter to have an allergy test done tommorrow. I'm not quite sure what to expect. She has this deep cough (when she has a cold) and it sounds like croup, but we know that's not what it is. She gets this even when she DOESN'T have a cold, every now and again.
The doc thought it was asthma and gave her a puffer but she doesn't need it unless she's coughing. She's never out of breath when running or playing.
The doc thinks it may be allergies so we're off tommorrow for testing.
What can I expect?? Any other ideas OTHER than allergies or asthma?
