Freeze. Generally when you freeze to death, you just get really numb and tired and go to sleep. With burning you are totally aware you are dying and in great pain and panic while its happening.

I would rather freeze to death it is peaceful you just go to sleep whereas to burn to death is extremely painful try an experiment hold a piece of ice to your wrist for one minute and then see how long you could hold an open flame to your wrist and there you have the which is more painful and why.

I would rather freeze. You just go to sleep from hypothermia and don't wake up, very peaceful. Burning to death has to be horrible. You know you're gonna die and would be in agonizing pain for at least a minute or two.

Well if those are my only options...lol....I guess I would want to freeze to death. I am quite sure being that cold is not a pleasant experience however you do eventually go to sleep and that I would prefer to burning to death...Burning may take less time but I would not want to be awake to witness the entire thing..ss

well lol preferrably neither one. but as a hypothetical situation i would choose freezing to death. When tissue freezes it becomes numb (but painful indeed). i have been told that when a person freezes to death, first they go through a period of feeling intensely cold, and that is the most painful part. after that the tissues start to freeze and become numb, then the person goes into hypothermia and then essentially goes to sleep and doesnt wake up.
i would prefer to go through this than to have my flesh seared and oozing and dripping from my body as it melts off...and especially would prefer not to feel the burning until i die.
my own opinion

Burning to death is usually not instantaneously and is very painful. Freezing to death usually is accompanied by falling asleep (coma) and is not painful.

burning to death would be allot more painfull..your skin would literaly peel off and not only would you be panicing but youd be in so much physical pain on the inside and out and who would wanna see themslefs burn alive?.. that would add to the pain of it while freezing to death.. well with the cold your body cant cope woth the heat loss so it shuts itself down quicker to obtain more energy so you'd probly become unconscious after a small amount of time in cold, and probly die in that state witout waking up.. sounds allot better then having your skin melt off your bones eh???
