My partners mother needs 2 Gallstones removed but is determined to rely on folk medicine to cure them. I have little knowledge on the effect of Gallstones on a persons life or the operation required to remove them, I am hoping somebody can provide me an idea of whether any type of folk medicine really can help her (I'm very skeptical) or if anybody can give me an idea how easy the operation would be for her? Any help will be most gratefully appreciated.

I just used listerine that i put in a dixie cup. After i used the listerine, i noticed that it began to eat away at the cup. On the bag that the cups came in it says that it has a leak resistant coating. Is there anyhting harmful in this that was dissolved by the listerine?

My husband has heart problems, and we were wondering where can I find those tags (they look like dog tags) and you put them around your neck, or as a bracelet, that show the health problems you have, like he has heart problems, and diabetes, so in case he has an emergency and we are not there, the paramedics and doctors can know he has those health issues when they go to treat him. i dont know what happened.. my belly was fine for over 6 months.. then i realized it was hurting for awhile and i looked and saw that it was swollen.. i took the barbel out and puss came out of it.. i dont kno what to do.. its swollen up a little.. and its pink specially around the bottom hole (almost looks like a small bruise) can someone help me.. i dont know what to do.. i dont wanna close it because i herd it is bad to close an infected hole because the infection will stay inside?? what do i do..!!?!? ive been putting bactine on it (soothing infection protection).. please help me

Ive noticed alot latly that every time i get up i black out for about 5 sec. and it wasnt so bad like i us to get up with know problem and every once in a while i would black out, but now its like consintly happening and i hate it cuz i cant see for a few seconds and i just stand in one spot for 5 sec. until i can see again. so is there a reasoning why this happends? i dont think its normal?

ok i was thinking,
the brain has some amazzing capapbilitys, we feel hot because the brian tells us we do, we feel cold because our brain tells us 2 (nerve receptors connected to the brain, CNS clah blah blah)
the brain is almost in control of you body and what you do
soo when we die, is it becuase our brian has gave up
Do you think the brain accepts death,
Do you think we die, becuase we think wer going to die
This question is based on natural casues of death, and plain old heart attacks, not clots or strokes (just the stopping of the heart), and not physical ailments, like dieseases and physical wounds.
most people who die of natural causes die because there heart stops also people with heart attacks, once again im not talking about clots or cholesterol, im just talking a bout the heart stopping
My final thoughts
does our heart stop beating becuase pur brain has given up
if someone had such a hard will to survive (mentally)

For embalming or an autopsy, what shape do they cut you open in? Is it an H sideways, a Y, or a T?
If it is not the sideways H, is there any medical procedure where they do?

I'm a guy in my late 20s, in excellent health, but have always had a small bladder. I have to urinate a LOT -- often like once an hour during the day or even more, depending on how much i have to drink. I don't have any problems urinating or even any real sudden urgency to urinate -- i just can't hold much, and it's annoying how often i have to go, especially at night. When i was a kid i used to wet my bed every night because of this; now i *usually* can get up in the middle of the night to pee, which is better but still annoying, especially when it's freezing cold out!

Is it possible by forcing myself to hold it in for a long time to stretch out my bladder so that it can hold more? Or will trying to stretch it out like that just cause more problems for my bladder in the long term? If holding it doesn't work, is there a surgery or some other treatment that could enable my bladder to hold more?

Anyone else had any experience with this? Any input would be much appreciated!

This is my second day of having pink eye. I didn't go to the doctor because I figure it wasn't a big deal. My eye is starting to go back normal, but how long should I wait to put my contact back in? It's irritating and I have no glasses. Plus I'm going back to school tomorrow.
