Take it out and see a DR.

the thing that really worked for me was sea salt which can be found in any supermarket.
I just mixed appx 2 tsp in a glass warm water and put it on my belly button - just place the glass w/the water on it and holding it to your belly, lay down...keep it there for about 10 mins.
I did this once a day for about 5 days and it cleared up. No problems ever since (3 years w/it on now)
If not - u might have to go see a doctor- but dont wait too long!
Good luck...

go to the person who pierced it or a doctor. use sterile saline soloution to clean it. also, some people's bodies reject their piercing. the navel takes a full year to heal because it doesnt have as much blood flow to it as facial areas. my friend had one and after several months, her body literally forced the barbell out. ive had mine for about 7 months, and sometimes its just fine, others it get irritated and crusty and stuff. what does the trick for me is putting a longer barbell in it, and not touching it at all. Also, i fill a shotglass with saline soloution and then put it over my belly button and let it soak. works great. still, talk to a professional piercer.

That happened to me. I had to take the ring out and let the hole close up. A few months later I just got it re-pierced and it was fine.

I would take the ring out. Then, clean the area with soap and water. Next, put Bacitracin on it and cover it with a band-aid. I wouldn't put the ring back in until the infection has cleared.

Make sure you drain all the pus and then use peroxide and let it bubble up and then rinse well. Keep it clean and do not put the ring back in until it has cleared up. If it's not better in a week see your doc.

First you should probably take out the ring if its infected, and then clean it out with alcohol.

Also see a doctor, he will probably need to give you some ointment.

Take it out and put it in your nose, then clean your wound with rubbing alcohol which will hurt like crazy but it will get the job done. Then ask yourself why you did it in the first place. If you wanna dance, you gotta pay the piper.

Go to a doctor. Don't wait, because infection can spread.
