I have been taking 300mg of Lithium twice a day for two years or so. Along with the lithium I was prescribed synthroid to maintain proper throid function. I have been off of both for a month under the supervision of my doctor. What was previously thought to be bipolar disorder was most likely emotional imbalance due to alcoholism and drug use. I have been clean and sober 9 months and during my last visit to the doctor I asked him if my bipolar symptoms were drug related and if I could stop taking the lithium to find this out. I have had no bipolar episodes since I've stopped taking it but my energy level is the lowest it has ever been. It literally feels like I cannot move at times. Is this due to stopping the lithium, the synthroid or both? Will my energy level eventually return to normal without MORE medication?

(I am doing this under doctor supervision but wanted some thoughts and comments before I speak with him about my lethargy)

Of course most type of food poisoning takes a day or more to take effect. I was diagnoised with having servere food poisoning bad enough that it tore a small hole in my intestines. I had bad stomach pain and was throwing up 2 hours after I ate out at a Applebees. Which was the only thing I had eaten all day. What kind of food poisoning or what could it have been to cause pain a mere 2 hours after eating it?

Please dont say to ask my doctor this happened 3 years ago and my"file" was lost.

Any help at all would be great.

I am 24 and have had a rapid heartbeat since i was in highschool. It happens when i wake up in the morning, when i sit up in the bed it beats so fast and i end up breathing so hard it feels like i'm hyperventilating and when i get up and out of bed i have to crawl because my heart feels like its about to explode and i can't catch my breath. It also beats fast after i eat but not nearly as bad. I have had the halter monitor and ekg all came back normal. I'm on medicine to slow it down and just had the dosage go up from 25 to 50 because it stopped working and its still not completely helping. No one knows whats wrong. HELP!!!

In most countries, as in Holland, one has register in order to be a donor. Despite this, the shortage of donor organs is massive! People have to wait for many months in order te recieve what they need. This is not because people dont want to be a donor, but because they just dont find the time ( lazyness, etc) to fill in the forms.

Wouldnt it be better if people are automatically a donor, unless they officially object? It is proven that when people object to something, they take stringer measures to make sure their voice is heard.

I'm sensitive to any medicine. No matter what it is, it makes me drowsy. I have to take care of a four year old today and I have to be alert, but this cough is killing me.

Today I received a random urine test from the company I work for and I am a wreck right now! My concern is that I smoked marijuana 29 days ago exactly but have not since then. Now I consider myself healthy with a good metabolism and all that but I am still worried because I've never had to good through something like this. Am I going to pop? I've researched this all day but all the sites just seem so inconsistent, some say 7-14 days/15-30days/3-90days. I would like some guidance or something because im freaking out here. Thanks.

My 12 year old daughter has been sick for months now, nauseating pain in her stomach, wanting to throw up all the time. She has had a CT scan with dye, blood work, etc. and the only thing they have found is fluid in her ears. No medication is working on her symptoms at all.
Has anyone experienced similiar symptoms of their own or with a preteen? I just don't know which direction to go in next.

I know that it's normal for eyes to twitch involuntarily every once in awhile, but for the past three or four days the corner of my right eye has been twitching about twice an hour, and it's driving me nuts!

Any idea why on earth this could be happening?

My eye doesn't hurt, and it isn't red, so I don't know, but it's really getting to me.
