Could you tell us more about yourself? Do you smoke? Do you eat strange spicy foods? Do you have any physical disorders? I think we need to know more before making any diagnosis.

Maybe it is something to do with your diet. Try a few weeks on an exceptionally healthy diet: Five fruit & vegetables a day, oily fish once or twice a week, no smoking, no drinking alcohol, no drugs -but lots of water. Stay off junk food entirely. Also concentrate on getting your mouth and teeth really clean - brush teeth and tongue after every meal using good quality brush and toothpaste, and also a mouthwash. It might also help if you try to do some vigourous exercise each day - e.g Gym, Tennis, Squash, Badminton, Raquet Ball, Jogging. Finally try to go to bed reasonbly early and get a good night's sleep. I hope you will try these things and I hope you get the success you are looking for.

You should consider visiting the school's medical services and talk to them about it. Some smells are linked to certain medical conditions.

Some other things to consider:

What kind of diet to you have? If you eat a lot of meat and heavy spices, those can come through your pores as rank smells.

Also, have you tried changing your brand of deodorant? I find that, after a while, some brands stop working for me. I guess my bacteria figure out how to get around certain formulas or something.

If you sweat a lot all over, consider using baby powder or crystal deodorants to keep yourself more dry. That should help with the odor as well.

"You are what you eat", goes the saying, and it is a very true one indeed.

It would be advisable to change your eating habits. Going 100% vegetarian could help a great deal; even if it doesnot take all of the smell away, it will greatly reduce it.

If you feel up to it, conduct an experiment, one that will prove my point and give you hope. Fast completely for 3 days ( it will take you some power of will to overcome the gnawing feeling of hunger, the 2nd day ). Only drink water. I bet my b***s that at the end of it, you will notice the problem to have been greatly reduced ! Then start eating again: fruits, nuts, fresh vegetables. You'll be amazed !

Sounds like you have something going on inside....do u eat alot of greasy/spicy foods? These can often cause this.
I would suggest drinking peppermint tea...this aids digestion and cleanses your body out.You can buy this for about £1 from most supermarkets.
Also u didn't mention if you have halitosis? ( bad breath) this can also be a digestive problem....anything like IBS to stomach ulcer or just simply bad dental hygiene.

It could be a sinus / throat infection which affects your sense of smell. It could be psychological and although the smells seem very real to you, it could be something else manifesting itself. It could be your diet............. it could be many things but the only way you will get to the source of it is to visit your gp and he/she will be able to advise you. Having your life back should outweigh any embarrasment you feel. Good luck.

You say 'bad' but it is not really clear of what. try going on a low fat diet and keep away from processed foods - eat fresh as much as possible Also get your blood sugar levels checked.

Maybe it's something in your diet... like something you eat that emits from your skin and makes you smell bad. I would ask my doctor about it, especially if your school/grades will start to be affected! Good luck!

Do you know if anyone else can smell it? It could be just you! Might be worth a trip to the GP, though
