I am totally afraid to be put under anesthesia..I am going under for invitro fertilization soon.. What if I am allergic to it? How can people die from it?
I will be breathing on my own so its not fully "under"
I am so freaked out about it HELP!

I'm doing a project on sleep deprivation, and I was just wondering what the longest you've gone without sleep? And if you've gone a long time, did you have any weird side effects?

As part of my project, I'm going to try awake for 90 hours, starting today. I got up at 9 am (GMT) and will probably go to bed around 11 pm Christmas day GMT time. I'd like to know your experiances, for my project and so I know what to expect.

I know i'm about to get sick because my throat hurts and everytime I'm about to get a cold my throat always hurts in the beggining. But anyway, does anyone reccomend and medicine that will get rid of my sickness and soar throat before Christmas.

I am sick but I don't know what i have I have a fever, my stomach hurts a little and my mount is all sticky. I think that means that I am dehidrated and a don't like drinking Sams Choice water and I was wondering if there is anything beside water that I could keep down that i could eat or drink also something that wont upset my stomach. And I don't know but I am 12 and since I was 6 I am sick every Christmas is that bad?

I use L Lysine on occasion...I know that it helps with skin problems....I get blisters sometimes when I'm run down or stressed...a friend mentioned to me that Lysine can also help
with the Alkaline level that is in our blood....I don't know much
about Alkaline Levels and their significance......Does anyone have
any Information on this and the Possible link...how much Lysine
is good to take?

My friend is 28 yrs old she has had a real rough time in life. She has been married 2 times one ended in divorce because of Physical Abuse the other she married a man from Nigeria and I am not sure if he loved her or just used her to get his Green Card. See they married 11/12/05 and he left supposibily to work in NY City 7/13/06 and has only been back 2 days for a visit.
She has been depressed so bad that she has put on alot and I do mean alot of weight. She has also become a diabetic. And not taken care of herself. Now she in in the Hospital in Critical condition and no one seems to know what to do. I don't want her to die but she has given up the wll to live. How do I help her?
