Large boils keep appearing on my bottom and stay there for several weeks at a time. They are marble size, yellow and rock hard. I have tried removing them with sandpaper and pliers to no avail. has anyone any quick fix suggestions as I really need to sit downsome time this week?

Hair on different part of our bodies grows to different lengths, and those lengths vary between people, as well as between areas of the body. After shaving (or cutting), hair grows (if allowed to grow to its maximum) to its previous length (more or less). So if you leave your leg hair to grow to its maximum, it stops growing. If you then shave your legs, your hair grows, but only as long as it was before - no-one has underarm hair reaching down to their pelvis.

Why is this? How does head hair 'know' to grow longer than other body hair?

A few months ago, my girlfriend began walking on her tiptoes when she's barefoot at home. She now walks like this ALL the time.

Is this all right?

She's 18 and has been wearing high heels for 4 years, regularly for 2 years. As far as I'm aware, there are no serious problems with her feet. She does have foot cramps but only occasionally - once every week or two. And I asked her about the tiptoeing and she just said "it's the most comfortable way to walk".

Okay, on the positive side, it looks cute =p. And it probably doesn't hurt because she's already got calluses from wearing high heels.

What is the best advice you have about getting breat implants? I plan on getting them this summer. Do they end up causing a lot of problems or do women usually stay pretty satisfied with them?

Last night, I was standing up to get a snack and once I sit down, I'm quite fine, but as I sit in the chair, I notice later on that my inner side of my left knee starts feeling strange and when I try to get up, it hurts like hell. I thought it would be just something I could sleep off, but it's gotten worse. Any pressure I put on my knee - i.e. getting up, sitting - I get this awful pain on my inner side of the left knee. I didn't do anything violent to ir or participate in any activity. Just happened... does anybody have any idea what this could be? Thanks!

I have had stomache pain for the last six years. they dont get better and they dont get worse. it only happens very very early in the morning when i am sleeping. i have to sleep on my right side to lessen the pain or make it go away. it gets bad when i sleep on my left side or my back. i cant pinpoint the pain. when the pain comes on,it gets worse when i breathe in. i have to get up and walk around before it subsides. i sometime have lower back pain with it too. i have been to the dr and have had every test ran possible and they are not able to find anything. the only thing that i have not had done is a colonoscopy. the pain is kind of a sharp pain, i guess its mainly above my bellybutton and below my rib cage. but its a constant pain.with occasional surges like when i breathe in deep, almost an inflamed feeling. i hope this sounds familiar to someone, i lose alot of sleep because of this and i just want to be done with it. if anybody might have an idea please reply.

OK...SO MY BF IS IN THE HOSPITAL, AND HIS NURSE PISSED ME OFF!
AM I WRONG IN GETTING IN AN ARGUEMENT WITH HER?

THE PROBLEM WAS THAT HE NEEDS PAIN MEDS EVERY CERTAIN AMOUNT OF HOURS, AND WHEN HE ASKS WHEN HE NEEDS IT NEXT THEY TELL HIM A CERTAIN TIME, THEN WHEN THAT TIME COMES THEY TELL HIM SOMETHING ELSE...TONIGHT THEY KEPT HIM WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR AFTER ONE OF THE NURSES HAD SAID THAT HIS MEDS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ADMINISTERED! I WAS SO MAD BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION THAT IS HAPPENNING CONSTANTLY, THIS WAS JUST ONE OF MANY INSTANCES...AND WHEN I BROUGHT UP THE FACT THAT I TOUGHT THAT SHE WAS BEING NEGLIGENT THE NURSE GOT EVEN MORE DEFENSIVE...

SO ANYWAY, AM I WRONG IN GETTING IN AN ARGUEMENT WITH HER?
