OK...SO MY BF IS IN THE HOSPITAL, AND HIS NURSE PISSED ME OFF!
AM I WRONG IN GETTING IN AN ARGUEMENT WITH HER?
THE PROBLEM WAS THAT HE NEEDS PAIN MEDS EVERY CERTAIN AMOUNT OF HOURS, AND WHEN HE ASKS WHEN HE NEEDS IT NEXT THEY TELL HIM A CERTAIN TIME, THEN WHEN THAT TIME COMES THEY TELL HIM SOMETHING ELSE...TONIGHT THEY KEPT HIM WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR AFTER ONE OF THE NURSES HAD SAID THAT HIS MEDS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ADMINISTERED! I WAS SO MAD BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION THAT IS HAPPENNING CONSTANTLY, THIS WAS JUST ONE OF MANY INSTANCES...AND WHEN I BROUGHT UP THE FACT THAT I TOUGHT THAT SHE WAS BEING NEGLIGENT THE NURSE GOT EVEN MORE DEFENSIVE...
SO ANYWAY, AM I WRONG IN GETTING IN AN ARGUEMENT WITH HER?

WELL I ASKED TO SPEAK TO HER SUPERVISOR, BUT BY THAT TIME VISITING HOURS HAD ALREADY BEEN OVER...SINCE HE'S BEEN THERE THEY HADN'T MADE A BIG DEAL ABOUT ME STAYING AFTER VISITING HOURS, BUT TODAY THE SECURITY GUARD WAS WALKING AROUND ASKING PEOPLE TO LEAVE, SO ILL JUST HAVE TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR TOMMORROW...

no you're not wrong, because i would do the same thing if my boyfriend was in the hospital. if the nurses weren't doing their job and not giving the meds when they were supposed to i would give them hell. your boyfriend is someone you care about, if they dont act like they care i'd be pissed, they should at least act like they give a damn and be responsible for their patients. the nurse can go to hell and kiss my white a s s! hope this helps! :D

Hell no you arent wrong! It is that *****'s duty to take proper care of your man. That is what the hospital is for. What do you get when you add the letters -ity to hospital? Hospitality. And the nurse should be doing her job. If he is supposed to have his pain killers at a certain time, I for damn sure would raise all hell that I could until my man was comfy again. Rage on!

you have every right to be mad. i would go to someone higher up in the hospital. its nurses like that that give all the good ones out there a bad rap.
