Why do doctors smoke, eventhough they were taught in medical school that it causes lung cancer and such? Why do singers smoke, eventhough it is awful for their voice/career? Why do people in general smoke, when they cough when they have their first puff from a cigarette?

I was given a script for Darvocet N 100 and it is NOT working. Is it possible that my body is immune to Darvocet? I know hydrocodone is effective in treating the pain that I have, but I didn't ask the doctor for that. Should I ask my doc for a higher dosage of Darvocet?

I have a very hard time hearing I have to have my music up all the way and my t.v. on volume 54,and still can't hear! I know It's not wax b/c I have tried cleaning them out w/ q tips and nothing comes out,I have put water in it to see if something will come out but still nothing.It also hurts. I have called the doctors and they let me come in to pick up some sample medicines,for it but haven't actually checked my ears out! I can't take it! My medicine they gave me is zurtx but it's only gonna be my second day using it today.Is this nomral or rare? Should I see and ear specialist? What could be wrong? HELP PLEASE! Best answer gets 10 points!

I go hiking, therefore i sweat, then i think jesus, sweat smells like canabis. Coincidence? probally not...the odour is more profound as compared to other physical activities though.

I have a debt of about $1000 Cdn and my mom thinks i should pay for it. I've tried negotiating with her and family members but I'm told to solve this on my own. It's not because of shopping. Its actually health bills. My problem is I'm unemployed, and now is not the best time to ask my friends because they're stuck in their own financial situations regarding school tuition payments...ok all of us have money and debt issues. I'm in the process of looking for a new job and i haven't landed one yet.

I've already cut off my cell phone and i sold a few designer clothes i have for a good offer. I sold some of my stuff inclidong some cds, art, stuffed animals, CD player, etc. I only covered about $250-$300. I'm still about $800 short. I don't want to do anything that breaks the law(shoplifting, robbery, etc.). That's just not me.

Someone i've met last yet, an aquaintance, told me her biggest secret into staying out of debt and always having money......she SERIOUSLY DOES PROSTITUTION!!

I was thinking about taking some caffeine pills made by Long's Drugs. I was thinking about taking them during the weekday mornings because I wake up really early on weekdays mornings Monday-Thursdays to attend my morning college math class. I tried coffee and that does not seem to do the trick. So, I was wondering if caffeine pills made by Long's Drugs work? Or, are they bad for your health?
