I often wake up during the night with symptoms that are similar to the early symptoms of shock - dizziness, tingling in my arms and legs, nausea, low body temperature (96 - 97 degrees), I'm freezing even though the room temp is over 70 degrees, and sometimes I am soaked in a cold sweat.
I do have panic attack disorder and asthma; I have had Crohn's disease and melanoma, but both are in remission. My heart, brain, thyroid, and blood have all been checked and are fine.
Does anyone with experience or medical education have any other ideas to what this might be? Could it be related to panic attack or menstrual symptoms? Thank you.

i was in the hospital and i heard a nurse say a sentance with "armstrong" in it. then the nurse in the room said "neck and spine." im really worried.

i just ate at a restaurant about an hour ago... i didn't overeat, but
my stomach feels like someone is pressing hard on the area just above my stomach... it hurts pretty bad, and i've never had food poisoning so i don't know what this is... any doctors that can explain, please?

My mother is in dire need of an oxygen tank. But the Dr. won't give her one as long as she's smoking. She will not quit. She said that's the only thing in life that she enjoys. She has lack of oxygen to the brain & she needs the oxygen, bad. She's started acting strange & I know that's why. I dont want her to die because she doesn't have an oxygen tank, but like I said, she wont quit smoking. My sister says we should tell the Dr she's quit, so she can get the oxygen she so desparately needs. I dont like to lie. Plus, the chance of explosion (due to a cigarette being near oxygen) worries me. Mom smokes outside. My sister thinks if the oxygen tank is in the house & mom goes outside to smoke, that there shouldn't be a problem. I want an opinion of someone who would better know. Would it be safe to do that? Is there a certain distance that smoke should be kept away from an oxygen tank? Only serious answers please. Thank you.

I have a boil about the size of a quarter. Its on my RUE. I have had it for about 10 days, It became painful, so I stuck a 22 guage needle in it in 2 places and pushed about 5cc puss and blood out of the 2 holes. It hurts. I have been putting the hottest water I can stand on it in the shower and watching it. I have warm flushed skin about 2 inches around this thing. I have some old Keflex from a really bad throat infection about a year ago. Is this a good antibiotic to use? Should I just go to the doctor and spend $30 bucks or wait it out?
PS: I am a RN in a hospital , so any advice would be appreciated.
