MY NIEGHBORS ALL HAVE HEAD LICE. SHE HAS TOLD ME THE KIDS WERE TREATED BUT THEN SHE SAID SHE JUST HAD TO DO IT AGAIN 4 DAYS AGO. NOW THE OTHER NIEGHBORS HAVE SHAVED THIER HAIR AND NOW IM FREAKIN OUT ABOUT MY OWN KIDS. THEY HAVE NOT PLAYED WITH THEM IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO BUT THEY ARE STILL OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME AND I FOUND THEM ON OUR TRAMPOLINE YESTERDAY WITH MY KIDS. I HAVE LOOKED THROUGH MY KIDS HAIR AND HAVENT FOUND ANYTHING BUT IM WORRIED THAT IN A WEEK OR TWO THEY WILL. AM I JUST OVER REACTING? HELP, DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO I HATE JUST WAITING FOR THEM TO GET LICE. I CANT TRUST ANYTHING SHE SAYS SHE TOLD ME HER KIDS GOT IT FROM THE KIDS AT SCHOOL BUT SCHOOL HAS BEEN OUT FOR ALMOST TWO MONTHS AND HER KIDS ONLY HAD THE NITS AND A FEW BUGS. NOW I AM JUST SITTING AROUND THE HOUSE ITCHING AT THE THOUGHT OF LICE. WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

what would cause my sister, an otherwise totally healthy thirteen year old girl, to suddenly begin losing hair? at first we thought it was just normal shedding, but she has lost probably half of her hair and bald spots are starting to appear. What could cause this? How could we fix it? Is this a warning sign or a symptom of some kind? Help!!

how do you get rid of them without using those shampoos and without shaving it all off? the shampoos i have tried before and they didnt work , i even hung all the bedding etc outside and cleaned everything but i still keep getting them from school , also is there any way to prevent them from coming back ?
please dont say shaving is the only option , my hair grows very slowly (it took 2 years to grow back to shoulder length when i cut it all off before) , please help to get rid of them for a little while at least.

I have both a dental appt and a pediatric appt for my son next week. His teeth checked out fine at his appt one year ago and look ok now. I brush them every day. But, he has a spot on his gums that is red and inflamed and it bleeds occasionally. Gingivitus? In one localized spot? Or are there viruses? Ever heard of this? It is not from brushing, that was what I thought at first. I am getting it taken care of asap, but just wondering if anyone has an idea what it could be? It scares me, because it does not seem to heal. Medical books are scary and tend to cover many areas.

I have a friend from high school who had the surgery and since she had it 8 months ago her face is more wrinkled and she looks much older than before she lost 100 pounds. I noticed that Star Jones looks so much older now than she did before her weight loss. She doesn't look good at all. I will say that Al Roker looks no different in the face to me. Maybe it's just women.

I had anal bleeding and diariah for couple of days about 1.5 years ago, than everything was ok. About 6 months ago i had anal bleeding again and again after couple of days everything was ok. And today is the second day I'm having anal bleeding when I go to the bathroom. It's between light red and dark red. Any doctors out there that would know whats going on?

My friend has gotten incredibly skinny this summer.... in an unhealthy way....but i see her eat all the time so she's not anorexic or belimic....does anyone know what could be wrong w/her?? At vball camp she had to sit out cause she didn't have enough energy to play.... HELP!

like 4 months ago in math class i was scratching my ear with a pencil (lol) when i got the pencil out of my ear ther was no tip! since that day i started having problems with my ear for example i when i open my whole mouth i heard better with my right ear (the one with the pencil tip) do u ppl think the pencil tip is still on my ear and if it is what should i do?

It seems when I try to go to sleep at night I can't. I usually lay in bed, tossing and turning and don't find myself falling asleep until around 3-4 AM... then waking up at 1 PM the next day..

what can I do to help solve this? I often find myself trying to tire myself out to go to bed earlier, and it doesn't work. Or ill lay down at around 10-11 PM..

my daughter has been sick since she was little first was urinary tract infection that spread to her kidneys and almost took her life, then for the past 2 years we have been up 4-5 hrs a night with joint pain and nobody can tell us what is wrong she has already been tested for juvinile arthritis but that came back negative the only thing i can do is massage but if anyone has any advice for the meat eating or the joint pain please all advice is welcomed

should one perform the original cpr on a personal who nearly drowned or should one use the Heimlich Maneuver for Drowning if you havent heard of it go here http://www.heartland.org/Article.cfm?artId=16745
In the cpr class I took they said to use cpr(duh!), but reading this article is Heimlich Maneuver for Drowning a better choice
