Just cause you see her eat all the time, doesn't mean she's not anorexic or belimic. You can't be with her all the time....
However, she may seriously have something else going on with her. Tell her you are concerned about her rapid weigh loss. She would have to know about it.... her clothes would be falling off by now. Tell her to talk to someone about it.... perferably her parents or another adult she trusts.

well u should ask her. maybe she is under a lot of stress. stress can hurt the body in soooo many ways. u need to make sure she doesn't use drugs, and that she's not anorexic or belimic. just tell her that u care for her and that ur concerned and talk to her.

You may well see her eat - but that does not rule out Anorexia, or Bulemia - because what you may not being seeing is the vomiting, or diareaha, or any of the other ways some girls unhealthly use to control their weight.
Or she could have some dibilitating disease she is not telling you about.
Or she could have a tape worm.
In any case she needs to see a doctor.

She may have a thyroid problem, or a problem like lupus which generally goes untreated because it is so uncommon, have her ask her doctor to run a SEDEMINTATION RATE BLOOD TEST, it costs about ten dollars where i live and it test for lupus and any other tissue problems that may cause dramatic weight loss.

I'm going to assume that the coach knows that there is something going on.. Ask the coach of the team if they have notified the parents of her problem. If they have not, ask them to do so. If they refuse.. please call her parents and talk to them, as you are a good friend to worry about her.

omg that is scary. Could she be doing some drugs? Is she depressed? Please be honest with her and tell her how worried you are about her. Encourage her to see a Dr. Good Luck.

You might not see her binging and purging either. Her parents need to get her into the dr. right away.
