You may have to start over. Sometimes we have to do that to learn from our mistakes. Life is too important to let anything or anyone get us down. What ever it takes to get over your depression; do it. Good luck and write if you need to.

Hi, sorry to hear you're hurting. What's going on? Do you know why you're depressed? If it's changeable, try to solve the problem. Don't be afraid to let go, dive in, roll the dice or whatever. If something was destroyed, replace it, build something new. If it's unchangeable, then you'll just have to deal. Time will almost certainly help. Things will change. Brighter days will come. Don't sit and stew. Stay active. Force yourself to do something you want to do or enjoy doing; it may seem like you don't want to do anything, but I think it is best if you keep your mind occupied with something other than whatever is bringing you down. A little distance and time will give you a chance to look back with a new perspective. Talk to someone, even a stranger on the phone if need be. Hang in there. :)

There are a lot of reasons to do away with yourself but there are infinitely more reasons not to. Call a friend and get a hug. Do you know anyone with little kids that know you? Get together with them and get some kid therapy; you can't beat their silliness or love of life. I wish I was a friend and my son knew you-he's 5 and aside from entertaining you, he'd give you such a big hug you'd know there is a reason to live.

Exercise is good for getting the endorphins going. Sex is good too. There is always chocolate. Don't forget prescription meds and one-on-one therapy. Joke about what makes you depressed. If you can make a morbid joke out of it AND make other people cringe at the same time, I say go for it. I am a student of all of these suggestions (except maybe the exercise) and personally endorse them all. Try one!

Please don't do anything to yourself that may be permanent. If you believe in Karma (I do) then you have to believe that whatever pain you're feeling in this life will follow you into the next if you don't learn how to deal with it now. This thought is what has kept me going in addition to what I imagine my family and the other people in my life who like if not love me would go through if I did something to myself. I don't want THAT to follow me either.

Call someone or email one of us. No one should be left alone when they feel this bad.

people feel depressed by different reasons most of the time they feel it b'coz they think they are being deprived of their rights & so end up being a loser hence depressed. I am just making a guess pls ignore if it is wrong. Some remedies to come out of depression think about &meet those people who have got lesser than what you have or meet a begger or simply give a smile to him, visit a hospitel ward & talk to the patients who have no visitor , go to an old age home talk to them & share their feelings make a friend out of them, if none of these is possible call an old freind & still not feelig better just think of your creator very calmly he has not made you without any purpose he has given you all the things & he only can give you whatever you need without any cost just strengthen the relationship with one & only almighty

I am 58 years old and was seriously depressed for many of them.
A few times I took medications but was unhappy with them as I felt like a vegetable. 2 years ago after spending months staying alone doing nothing but drinking alcohol and watching videos I went for help, and ended up being put on one of the newer antidepressants. after about 10 days it worked. I am not joyously happy but I am not slow in the mind, and I don't get those really black periods at all. I have stopped drinking completely. I suggest you try it. If you don't like the effects get the MD to try another as there are a large variety of them. I have no side effects. I seriously hope you get to feel better and empathise with your plight. If you wish to email me I will reply.

Take one second at a time.
Take one minute at a time.
Take one hour at a time.
Take one day at a time.
Take one week at a time.
Take one month at a time.
Take one year at a time.

Love yourself.
Remember that there really ARE people who can't live without you. Really.
Take life one step at a time.
Be brave and ask your doctor for help.
There are meds out there that can help take the edge off.... to make this harsh world a little bit easier.
Life IS better than being in the ground.
Think of all the things you'd miss if you were gone.
LIFE is not easy, but it IS worth living.
You are stronger than you know.
Believe in your own inner strengh.
Be proud of yourself.... for every day you make it through.
Get involved with helping others less fortunate.... it will take your mind off your own problems.
One day, you WILL wake up in the morning, and be glad that you're still here.... breathing.... accepting life... the good and the bad.
You'll be glad you are alive.
Believe me.
Believe in yourself.

Take one second at a time.

Get to know yourself. Not the person everyone else wants you to be. You! Nothing in this world will make you happy. The world is full of pain and hurt. But hidden deep inside you, is the special person God created you to be. Finding and getting to know this person is not easy. The world has too many distractions, things and evil that keep you from knowing the true you. Take more quiet time. learn to listen to silence. Teach your self this one simple rule. "No one will treat me better than me because I am my own best friend" Say this to yourself now. Go now and look into the mirror. and say this to yourself now. " I am a special being created for the glory of God, I will not be moved by the hurtful things and people of this world, I was born to be strong, happy, healthy, and free"
Learn to meditate and search out the deep recesses of your mind. confront the scary stuff, and let it be known you are not afraid anymore. Trust no one but yourself, and learn to reward yourself for each new day you overcome. Most of all remember your not alone. There are many in this world who suffer. Life is hard. But how you choose to live it is up to you. You have the power to be happy. You have the power to be pain free. Think about it. Life is yours to live, live it for you. What everyone Else thinks is not important, because when you smile the whole world smiles with you.

You are here for a reason...so find out why!!! That attitude is no way to go on!! I don't know the full background as to why you feel this way, but just know that every moment you spend like this is a moment lost that you could have spent smiling or laughing or having fun!! Think of good things and don't dwell on what's bad in your life. And remember, somewhere out there someone loves you with all their heart and will do anything for you but that person is too afraid to let you know their true feelings. Feel like that for someone else!!

Close your eyes and take a deep breath and then exhale; think about a time when you felt happy. Get yourself ready for bed, a nice hot shower may help you feel better then get into your pajamas and get to bed. Things ALWAYS seem worse at night when your tired. Only allow your mind think about positive thoughts and allow yourself to let go of any negative thoughts. In the morning you need to call your family doctor as soon as the office opens to schedule a physical exam. If you are feeling depressed and you have physical pain you need to find out why so you can get medical treatment and or counseling with a therapist who can help you. I've been to therapy for depression and anxiety and it really helped. There are many people out there who want to help you, let them, I hope I was one of them.

its anxiety and depression combined. You lost a love one, out of job... anything, anyways but its not the end of the world. Life is still a challenge. Failures could be opportunities. If you lost your love go out and flirt and flaunt a little with care. Nothing is hurting. Its all in the mind. Go inside your room and scream like hell it will help. Go to one corner of your yard bring crystals, all everything that was related to the cause of your depression and smash or throw them in the concrete fence while shouting out your hurts and you will notice your spirit will lighten. Others burn every evidence of memories of the past. Try it it works. DONT BE A FOOL MOVE ON...
