clumsy you. first get a flashlight and request a friend to inspect your ear. Our ear is equipt with safetynet. The earwax will will protect our ear by pushing the foreign body out of our ear. dont panic. See a EENT doctor.

Oh my gosh!! I don't know, but what I can tell you is, my daughter(almost 6 now) when she was about 2 1/2 she put an un popped piece of popcorn in her ear, well it took a couple of days or so to realize something was wrong( I of course did not see her put it in her ear), I took her to the doctor and he seen it, THEN said what a major emergency it was b/c if the popcorn POPPED in her ear it could cause deafness, so emergency surgery the next morning with no liquids in the mouth, and no bath either!! Kinda funny now, but scary then!!!

I sorta doubt that the pencil tip would still be in there without you feeling a serious discomfort from it. The symptoms you've described sound more like a regular pressure change (ie popping)...BUT...go to your Doctor and get the ear examined to be sure. and for petes sake...don't put anything that small or sharp in your ear canal!!

I would suggest taking a visit to the Emergency Room or Urgent Care nearest you. If you haven't already gotten an ear infection, I seriously doubt that there is anything in there.

You mean in some mysterious way the pencil tip has made you hear better? Then you should thank your pencil.

haha, i think its funny that you decided to tell us that you were in math class...
i would try the experiment again, but this time in your left ear. you said that when you open your mouth, you could hear better in the right ear. why not balance it out?
good luck leadhead.
