maximum babies which have mild autism or Aspergers do o.k.. I surely have a son this is autistic or maybe as he does have issues, he does many stuff o.k.. he will advance up, flow to varsity (with some help), get a job and with slightly of success stumble on a mate. he will continuously require some help yet he will be nice. His habit in the present day can be a challenge. He acts out, has tantrums, hates noises etc. Has socialization ability issues yet with ideal help (and homeschooling) issues have become extra constructive. My advice is to stumble on a help team (there are some on-line and should be some on your section). this is the superb difficulty ever, to easily recognize that others are available and also you ought to apply one yet another as a source.

there is no real cure for autism. But since the diagnosis is based on observing behaviors, if the behaviors are improved, the diagnosis may change. The person will always have autistic tendencies but hopefully will learn how to manage their behaviors. One of the best approaches that I have seen is Relationship Development Intervention see the following http://www.rdiconnect.com/

Erinn is either extremely ignorant or thinking of some bizarre tabloid. Autistics don't hit dogs to understand emotion. There is no "cure" for autism. Autistics can learn to behave more typically, but there is no way of "fixing" them. Autistics tend to resent the neurotypicals who try to fix something that they (the autistics) don't see as broken.

Erinn IS ignorant if she takes a teacher (oh, and "college level" at age 15 isn't really a college class, thanks) at face value without doing research on her own. I looked it up and couldn't find anything related to autistics beating dogs. Unless you can back it up, you're woefully ignorant and apparently defending your ignorance. That's sad.

Dogs are used in therapy sessions, but there's no beating involved. http://www.petplace.com/Articles/artPrinterFriendly.asp?all=1&conID=19463

I can't believe that anyone would be so ignorant of autism that they would think that animal abuse would be a method of therapy.

um, ive heard of people letting autistic people hit dogs. when they see how the dog reacts to being hit it's easier for them to understand emotion. im not sure if autism spectum is the same thing im talking about

ERINN IS NOT EXTREMELY IGNORANT. Get your facts straight before you call someone ignorant. I was told this my my science teacher in a college level class.

no, no magic pill. some therapeutic methods are making great strides in helping these kids, but there's no cure.
