I have been wearing contacts for about 3 month now; all of the sudden now my eyes are bothering me like there is something in them. a little like there is sand or something (this is without my contacts on) what do you think it could be? what do you think i should do?

about 5 months ago i was having pain in my ear. I went to the emergancy room. They said i had to much wax in my ear, they tryed to take it out but it hurt to bad. Felt like my ear drum was going to burst. Well It just keep getting worse after that. I went to my regular doctor and she gave me drop to help. They didn't. i went to a specialtict and he said there was nothing wrong with my ear no wax or anything. Well now 5 months later. Every day i feel pressure is building up in my ear. and at night when i lay down i lay on the side that hurts. And not even 5 minutes later i can feel something running out of it. It makes it feel better. But i dont get why it keep happening. Every doctor i go to say theres no fuild in there. If you know what it could be please help. I'm getting so sick of my ear always hurting. Thank you

- my mother is paralyzed on her left side due to a recent stroke
- she can read and loves to work crossword puzzles, but can't find an adjustable. easy-to-use, storable lap/bed-desk
- also would love ideas/resources for storing things that she needs easy access to next to her bed
- hospital nightstands are worthless, and so are their over-bed tables - any help?

I know it's bad to sleep on your stomach, but why? I have been sleeping on my stomach almost every night because that's the only way I can fall asleep. Just recently I have tried sleeping on my side...I'll fall asleep sometimes but I won't others.

Well i was just sitting on my couch when suddently I felt my ear feeling really weird. It doesn't hurt. It just feels pluged. I already know that it's dried wax.

It's been a long time since I have been able to sleep over 2 or 3 hours at a time. It seems I cannot relax enough to sleep well, very often waking up feeling afraid for some reason. I won't take pills to sleep, so please don't even suggest that. What else can I do? Anyone?

I know the muscle contracts and relaxes (gets longer). I just don't know if (in the arm) when your (let's say biceps) contract, does your arm move outwards or towards you? Thanks in advance!

Whenever I go in for a physical exam my mom always comes with me. She doesn't just wait in the waiting room, she comes into the exam room with me.

I don't really mind that at all and she's come my whole life so I am used to it but none of my friends will let their moms come in. So I am wondering if there are other guys out there my age (high school) or older who let their moms go to their physicals.

This is the 3rd day my throat has been bothering me..It is like a burning sensation..kinda like i am having constant acid reflux...I have drank nothing but water an taken benadryl for the past 2 days! I have to recite a speech in front of my class tomorrow and don't want to screw it up because of this! If anyone has any quick working remedies they would be greatly appreciated!
