Whatever you do, don't dig around inside your ear or syringe the canal yourself. Speak to your primary care provider and request another referral to another ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat specialist -- same as an Otolaryngologist). I know you've seen one already but try it again. The pain you feel is real. Be prepared to describe the fluid. Taking with you a specimen, as was suggested, is a good idea. If you are again told that there's nothing wrong with your ear, be glad for that and make an appointment with your dentist to rule out dental involvement.

I've had ear problems the last few years...doctors drive me crazy, one says there's not wax there and another will look and say there is. The one doctor did remove some wax, he placed a hot lamp next to my ear to soften the wax and then scraped it out. It did hurt a little. As to the pressure I had one doctor look into my ear and tell me there was water inside and that it would take several months to clear up. I've also had pain but they keep insisting there's no infection. There was a place I saw advertised in the paper that said they had a little camera that could be placed in the ear and then you can see inside, but I've never had it done.

Since you are having discharge at night place a clean handkerchief or a small white towel under you ear and catch the drainage. Make an appointment with a new ear nose and throat doc sinc the last one didn't seem to listen to you and the night before your appointment catch the drainage and take this sample along with you to the appointment so they can see what the drainage coming from your ear looks like. Call Monday for a new ENT doc and get this taken care of. Your hearing is too important to not take care of this.

Wow, dumb doctors seem to rank supreme in your neck of the woods...Ok with all due respect, see an ENT; Ear, nose and Throat doctor they CAN help. If this was the specialist your were referring to than see a different one. I have had ear problems all my life an ENT is the only one who has been able to help me.

Considering you have been to the Dr. and had it checked could it possibly be a small cyst that builds up, causes pain and pressure then at a point drains? My mom had one once and it drove her crazy. When it hurt it HURT... she would go to bed with the pain. Finally one dr. found out what it was and alleviated the situation. Hope you find out soon.

i'm guessing it would desire to be perforated. whilst the stress replaced the ear drum bodily. they provide you nasal decongestants and propose which you chew gum. whilst a doctor prescribes antibiotics, continuously take the completed prescriptions. do not take it in basic terms till you experience better. The micro organism will nonetheless be there and could grow to be proof against the antibiotic. then you definately could have a resistant form of micro organism. that's how the resistant sorts of tuberculosis formed.

I would go see a ear nose and throat dr. and get that checked out. What color is the fluid that is coming out of your ear? Do you ever get headaches, dizzines and fatigue? When fluid id coming out of your ear it is not a good sign so go to a specalist to get that checked out.
