I've been having sleepless nights for weeks now and the doctor said I may subconciously be anticipating my headaches as they tend to come on when I sleep (feels like someone is gauching my eye out and pressing my skull together, I can hear it crack). So all this week I haven't slept but felt ok, I finally have a night's sleep last night and wake up with a splitting head. Why is this?

I've had to wear glasses my whole life starting at age 3 and it soooo sucked now i'm 27 i have a job and no kids and i figured "hey i can afford it, why not" the doctor gave me a list of references but i would rather ask someone that dosnt come from the doctor. What can i expect during and after the sergury. My insurance will pay 15% of it so it comes out to about 1200 each eye. I know there are cheaper ones but with something like this i dont want to find the cheapest, you know that saying "u get what u pay for". what r your thoughts on Lasik....go for it or go buy more contacts and why?

I have been working with several documents related to nursing recently. One item I see repeatedly is LPN+. I understand the difference between an RN, LPN, and UAPs, but I'm not clear on what an LPN+ is!

I'm a junior in college this fall. I choose my major elementary education so I can shape the minds of young children so they can have a great education. And to ahve a bright future. Last semester, one of my professors told us that there will be times where we will face parents that make our jobs very difficult. I want to know your opinions on teachers, good or bad it doesnt matter. But please answer truthfully and not as a joke. Also I know my question doesnt belong in the general health care category. So please dont rip on me for putting it in this category or how about my grammer, because im really not proofreading what im typing right now to check for grammer.

Is there any natural remedies/supplements/food practice that we could take to avoid stomach gastric and stomach wind from occuring? I'm trying to avoid taking medical (chemical-oriented) medicine as it might cause side-effect in the long run.

Occcationally when I am walking, I get this pain in my legs. Normally the pain is in my knee area. It is a dull pain and it doesn't hurt when you touch the area, only when I move. What could be the cause? BTW it can't be something like artiritis because I am a preteen.

Massive charlie horses in the back of both calves, similtaneously, at night when sleeping. The following day, it spreads up through the back of thighs and aches for at least 2 days afterwards. What could this be?
