a couple beers or wine to relax is ok to go to sleep but dont drink anymore than that you will become addicted for example a couple beers tonight tomorrow 2-3 a couple days 4-5 you see what i mean try other methods a hot shower befor bed warm milk watch tv etc

If you are already drinking a lot, it's not good. Plus the quality of sleep you get with alcohol isn't very good. See a doctor for some mild sleeping pills. Maybe warm milk might work, also.

I know a few beers will relax you...But if you have to do this everynite it will become a big problem...Try drinking a cup of hot coffee before you go to bed...Believe me,It relaxes me and i sleep great...Just try it...Can't hurt...

I drink beer every night before bed (hence the name) as long as you are not drunk every night I dont see a problem with it

Try an over-the-counter remedy like Simply Sleep.
It's non-addictive. If you still are finding it impossible to go to sleep or stay asleep, call your doctor.

Any alcohol can help you before going to sleep the problem is when you become an alcoholic because you did that.
