Why is it so loud? Can you get arthritis? What structures are involved with this?

It is just the air in between the bones excaping ive done it for years and have never had a problem.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not bad, if done once a day it can reduce arhritis/risk of getting arthritis, The sound you are hearing are bubbles of gas popping in your joints. However doing t too often can cause arthritis.

I have arthritis in my back, hands, etc. Have read several books on it, a bunch of health newsletters I get monthly, and in several of those it was mentioned by various doctors that you cannot get arthritis by popping your knuckles.

over a period of time u get arthritis do the hand exercise with the squezing balls and it will losen your joints
