I fell on my right ankle yesterday and I don't know if I sprained it or twisted it. How do I tell?

I fell out of a tree and hurt my ankle somehow. Basically I twisted it I think, but it's not hurt that bad and I can walk and everything, so why does it look like there's a baseball embedded under my skin? Am I hurt worse than I think? I am putting ice on it and took Advil.

FYI, I did rescue my airplane :)

A friend must convalesce for two weeks and is already really bored with TV. They have sore hands so that even holding a book, internet typing, holding a phone etc hurts after a short whle. Any ideas on ways to keep them occupied? I've only come up with playing patience and keeping the pack on the table....

not the top eyelid but the bottom eyelid. its been getting random muscle spasms. its not noticeable, unless i point it out and you look at it carefully. im 20 and this has never happend to me. lack of vitamins? lack of sleep? Someone pelase diagnose me.

How do you when you can begin exercising again? I've rested up for about 2.5 weeks now. The pain has subsided. The thing that I am afraid of is, even when the pain is gone, how do you know that pain won't come back? What if the bone is not really completely healed?

I'm confused with this injury!

what are the signs of going infected on the cut?

i recently cut ma self yesterday now its healed but theres just a tiny bit of yellow around the edge... barly can see though...

if it is infected what do i do?

i have:
TCP
Germoline
and some other creams suggest a cream i could use to prevent infection thanks guys x

there is no pain, and the skin over the blister seems pretty thick. Will it heal quicker if I drain it? It is on the palm of my hand.

FYI, this was an accidental burn. The blister is about 1 inch long by about 1/2 inch wide. Its holding alot of juice!

will i get them tomorrow i took ko,.lopin last night before bed and one this morning 1 mg. so please help will I not go through with draw i was hooked really bad on oxy, p[ercs, vicodin , morphine for two years and stoppede cold i was so sick it was the most awful thing in my life. I start a new job a week from weds. will I be ok? any adivice? I thatnk you all I reaaly need your help because Im scarewd Im going to feel like that again

It really hurts to open and close my fingers (make a fist, basically). The bite only bled a little but there isn't any visible bruising, nor is the wound red or swollen.

I was running on a slightly downhill slope a month ago and my big toe somehow got under my foot and i kind of stepped on it. it didn't hurt a whole lot, but afterwards it was purple with a couple red lines (blood i suppose). the markings healed about a week or two later, but it's been a month now, and when i try pressing my foot on my big toe like i did when i hurt it, it still hurts. only a little bit, but more in comparison to my other foot. will this eventually heal? thanks
