I fall asleep fairly easily but for some unknown reason, I wake up at least five-ten times during the night. I can usually fall asleep again quite quickly, but this constant waking is making me feel like I'm not getting enough rest during the night. My sleep is not replenishing and I am very, very tired during the day. If given the chance, I can nap in the afternoon for usually about 2-3 hours straight. Any ideas what's going on and how I can prevent it. Has anyone ever tried sleeping pills?

What is the problem here? For the past month or longer my first finger on my right had hurts as if I had jammed it but it is not getting any better. It hurts mostly if my finger gets any firm presure put on it also when I try to open bottles and things of that sort. I do type, use a cp mouse and dial a phone all day at work. Is it possible that is this arthritis in my finger and if so what will help with the pain short of a shot in the finger? Thanks

I don't get headaches very often, but I certainly have never experienced this before. Its not a slight burning, its really bad, like when you are swimming and water goes up your nose, but the feeling is constant and started when the headache started....ugghhhh!

I know that some people like to use the Avon product skin-so-soft as a mosquito repellent. My question is this: Which skin-so-soft product is the one to use for this? I see they have bath washes, bath oils, moisture lotions, and etc. Which one of these is the one that works for repelling? Avon has many products in the skin-so-soft line to choose from. I also see that they have a skin-so-soft bug repellent now. how do these smell? do they smell like other bug repellents, which is awful in my opinion?

I fell yesterday and my feet are pretty bruised. They were swollen yesterday, but not at all today. However, walking is kind of painful... I'd hate to go to the doctor just to have them say that there's nothing they can do for me.

Are there specific things I should watch for? Or a certain amount of time I should stop being in pain?

Thanks.

Have fusions at C4 C5 and C5 C6. Had surgery 10 years ago ,anterior discectomy at C6C7but NO fusion. I now have virtually no disc space left at C6-C7, it is degenerated beneath all the hardware above it with much bone spurring, I takr oral valium, and morphine, as well as prozac and cymbalta. Still in considerable pain, occassional severe headaches, and very limited use of left arm,...it has no strength or muscle tone. I am having an electronic stimulator placed on a trial basis next week,. but I personally would prefer to just go straight to a morphine pump. Will try elec stim, but haven't heard of much success with it at cervical level. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I have been unable to work, off the past year, waiting for disability. But I have no quality of life like this, and as soon as my morphine wears off the pain is back with a vengeance, it takes control release morphine over an hour to kick in. Can do very limited sitting or walking at a time. HELP!!!!

I have had a dull pain or discomfort in the left side of my abdomen and in the left side of my groin for about 7 months now. I have had several blood and urine tests, an ultrasound on my abdomen and everything appears normal. The pain in my abdomen is basically straight left of my belly button and sometimes is felt from my belly button to the very edge of my body. Mainly it feels like there is something inside right at that spot. The discomfort in my groin is only on the left side. The discomfort is always there, sometimes moreso in the abdomen and sometimes moreso in the groin. The discomfort in the abdoment is stronger. I was on antibiotics for a week and the discomfort in the groin subsided slightly. I feel fine otherwise. I am very active and fit. At the time the pain started I was doing a lot of cycling and the doctor attributed it to irritation. I have not biked for months now, so that doesn't seem to be the case. Any ideas? Please help, I am so tired of the discomfort.

On 12/26 I was in a minor accident but was fine for 2 1/2 wks. Then I got a bad constant HA. Now I'm at 7 wks of constant migraine & neck/occipital nerve pain. I've tried countless meds all of which have failed to work. I've been seeing a chiropractor who said I have severe whiplash but has not been able to fix the headache. I have been seeing a neurologist & he said my neck muscles have stretched/strained as a result of the accident, which irritated and inflamed my Occipital Nerve. He gave me a Nerve Block, which failed to work. Now we are going to try physical therapy 2 x's/wk for four weeks.

Has anyone had anything similar to this before as a result of a car accident?

As far as the accident itself, it was of no fault of mine. I was the passenger of the vehicle, my husband was the driver. No one was injured, and I did not seek medical treatment. It was not until weeks later was I found to be injured. At this time I am no seeking a lawyer.

Any other Other advice is welcome.
