I have a firend, who found she was bruising way to easily too. A visit to her doc said hemoglobin levels were low. A low hemoglobin is referred to as being anemic. There are many reasons for anemia. Some of the more common reasons are loss of blood (traumatic injury, surgery, bleeding colon cancer), nutritional deficiency (iron, vitamin B12, folate), bone marrow problems (replacement of bone marrow by cancer, suppression by chemotherapy drugs, kidney failure), and abnormal hemoglobin (sickle cell anemia).
It can also prevent blod clotting, which is sometimes neccesary. For example when you cut yourself, the blod clots at the cut, allowing your body to go through the process of producing new skin.
People with such conditions, such wear a one of those necklace/bracelet/anklet things that infroms others of your conditions, should something happen to you. Quick regognition of such conditions can affect your healing process should anything happen to you. If you suffer anything like this, let others look after you, make them aware.

It may be anemia.
There are several forms so I would go to the doctor and get blood work done. In the mean time I would suggest eat spinach, and maybe try and iron supplement.

Hi,I am the same I went to the doctors and they told me I was anaemic and prescribed iron tablets, but you could eat more green vegetables like cabbage or spinach etc to increase your iron intake instead of tablets. If it really bothers you the best option would be to see your doctor for proper advice.Good luck, hope you get it sorted.

its all dto do with your capillaries that are the tiny blood vessels under your skin - if your skinny you will bruise more easily as there is less fat on the surface of your skin if your more rounded you will bruise less easily. Go and see your doctor if bruises are appearing without knocking

You may have a low blood platelet count, or a problem with your blood coagulation factors. Why not get your doctor to do a blood test a FBC will test platelet numbers, coagulation tests e.g PT (INR) and PTT tests your blood clotting factors

Sorry about that. But, you are not alone. My wife has always had that problem. Just a slight tap or something and she is bruised.
Hope you learn to live with it as well as she has. HTH LOL
