I have been an xray tech for a long time. Many, many times people have told me that they can feel the x-rays. Other x-ray techs have told me the same thing, that patients sometimes can feel the x-rays. It's amazing to me. Have you ever had an x-ray taken and been able to feel the x-rays pass through you? If so, what did you feel? Thanks!

My boyfriend was drinking water and laughing at the same time and ended up chocking. He couldn't breathe. I first tried putting his arms in the air, but that didn't work. I then held his arms in the air while hitting his back in an upward motion. Did I do the right thing or should I have immediately have done the heimlich maneuver?

For about a month now I've been experiencing a cracking noise EVERY time I turn my head right and left. It doesn't cause me too much pain, but I have been having headaches and I'm not sure if they are related. I already went to my regular doc and she said there wasn't much I could do. I have been in a few moderate car accidents. One in which I was rear-ended at 45mph, and the other, we T-boned someone running a redlight. We were going around 50mph. I'm not sure if this is related as these happened a long time ago. I would like to know if Chiropractic is the best treatment and if so, how long and how much might it cost...my insurance doesn't cover it and I want to know if it is worth it...thanks in advance for your help!

After a sports game, I landed wrongly. This has resulted in my leg being swollen for a long time. I massaged it myself and used crutches to help me walk. I was told to apply a cold compress and that my ligament was out of place. It has been 3 weeks and I still feel pain.

I get this pain in my lower leg/calf/back of knee area that I've had for years, but it's been getting increasingly worse. When I was a kid, I attributed the pains to mere "growing pains," but I am 19 years old and I do not believe I have grown at all in the last three years (at least). I will stretch my legs out, usually while laying down, and my leg will stiffen out to the furthest stretch and the soreness will not go away. I have fairly muscular calfs and sometimes massaging them helps, but other times a massage will just emphasize the pain. Please help!

I put ice on it for 15 minutes, then I rubbed it with A5-35. I gave him some children's aceominaphen and now he is propped up with a pillow watching TV. Should I give him a warm bath too? I just want him to rest a little to see if it is going to feel better.
I pull a muscle at least every couple of months so I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly for a child, age 7. He has never pulled a muscle before.

I have a small scar to the left of my mouth, it is about 7 years old. I have seen the Mederma commercials and so I picked up a tube of generic scar treatment gel at Walgreens. It says I will need to use it for several months on an old scar. I haven't started using it yet.

Has anyone had good results with scar gel?

When I sit or lie down, I have no pain or problems at all. It is so severe now that I can't do anything that requires standing or walking for more than 5 - 10 minutes. I am a 40 year old female, and I have gained some weight in the past few years. I have never had back sugery or any specific injury.
