Anyone have tips on how I could quickly get over this mini-cold?

Drinks lotsa fluids,drink chicken broth & rub some mentholathum on your chest.Dress according to the weather (warm if cold out) vice versa.Hope u feel better soon.

Your sore throat is probably brought on by your sinuses draining during the night. I have found that if I gargle with Listerine (generic brand) in the mornings I can alleviate my sore throats from recurring.I've told my friends about this and they've had good results also.
Clearing up a stuffy nose can be done with any over-the-counter medications that you can use. Sudafed makes some excellent OTC medications for sinus ills, some are even non drowsy formulas. I use the cheaper generic brands.
Check the labels and read the precautions before you use them.

Their is some new medicine out called Zicam. It comes in a dissolving tablet and it comes in q tip swabs you stick up your nose. It is to be used as soon as you feel symptoms of a cold coming and its suppose to stop the cold before it starts. I tried the dissolving tablets and they worked i dont know about the other.

cold-eeze i found works the best but you have to use it as soon as you feel the cold coming on. i used it for about 3 days and was over my cold in less then a week. there are of course other cold remedy medicines such as airborne but they don't work as well.

try taking some vitamin c immediately. you can get it from orange juice or they also sell it in pill form at pharmacys.
