It started on Sunday. I had a big bump on my inner thigh. It was red. Then day after day it was hurting more only when I walked or sat down. This morning I woke up w/ a wet feeling btwn my legs and this pimple or what ever uwanna call it popped. I was oozing out the good. It was gross. I put neosormin on it and bandage. I looked at it through out the day. It is purple now, it hurts like hell and the sponge is soaked and so are the inner thighs of my pants. It looks like I pied on my self. Im embarressed. What can this be? Im going 2 the dr. 2night but I really don't feel like going. What do u think he's gonna do?

I recently got a perm and some of the solution got on my neck and left ear, which caused the skin to burn. It doesn't hurt, and it is nothing severe, but it's peeling and I was wondering if there is anything that I can to help the heal the wounds.

Professional answers only!! Thanks!

I noticed it yesterday, it's not red or discolored in anyway, but it's sore when I touch it. If I leave it alone it doesn't hurt at all. It's hard and it's not moblie but it's really small- like the size of a pea.

Does anyone know what this bump could be? Is it a sore of some kind.. or associated with acne? (I have acne)

I'm NOT talking about pimples, whiteheads or blackheads. These are very similar, but they are under the skin and harder to get out. They also appear on my cheeks and are white hard bumps. You can really see them in a magnified mirror or in a black light. How can I prevent them? And how can I get rid of them. All I feel are these bumps on my forehead and the only way I've been able to get rid of them is to take a safety pin and poke underneath the white bump and get it out. But I still keep getting them and they don't go away unless I poke them. But I'm afraid of damaging my skin by doing that. All the dermatologist does is exfoliate my skin and I can do that at home and that's not working either. For the record, I'm 41 years old.

The other day, I was in the shower. When I was finished I turned off the faucet and attempeted to move my foot back, which hit the faucet spout. Now I have a small peiece of skin on the heel of my foot. It has black stuff in it and it still hurts, even though it was at least a few weeks ago. Now, I poured proxide on it which got some of the remaining germs in it. But my legs hurts, and I mean the whole leg. It not a dear god I wanna die hurt but it aches. Do you think this could be a bad thing?

I've been using proactive for about 5 days now twice a day. I noticed that i started getting little red bumps on my face and even a patch of dark red skin. I switched to once a day two days ago but i'm wonder if anyone else experienced this using proactive. Does this happen in the process of healing your face or am i just allergic? I've used lots and lots of different things growing up and some have caused irritation and others haven't. Would you recommend i continue to use it?

I have this stye on my eyelid thats been troubling me for several days. I haven't been able to put my contacts in, so I wore my glasses (which are only about half as strong as my contacts). But today it was swollen like half shut, so I just stayed home. My mom thinks that I'm just looking for an excuse to stay home, but I'm not. How can I make it go away faster?

I have this annoying skin, that if I use ANY face wash, the next morning I wake up, my skin WILL have some sort of blemishes and it would just feel sort of dry. I used Neutrogena lotion for guys, and it caused blemishes. I used L'Oreal guys stuff for sensitive skin and it didn't work either. I used Aveda, and Murad, and Clean 'n Clear, and Clinique, nothing worked... I hate the feel of lotion on my skin and I hate using soapy washes on my face too. Please help!

My soon to be neice in law has a very severe case of eczema. she's only 3 years old and is covered, head to toe. Being a child, it's hard to get her to stop scratching, and she usually does so until she cracks and bleeds her skin. It's to the point where she needs her clothes changed 2-3 times a day and her bed sheets everynight. Her school attendance is even limited because of this. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any non- steriod treatments available. Her mother insists that the steriods have stunted her growth, and she is a little small for her age. It just hurts a lot to hear her screams of agony when she has to take a bath as if something as plain as water gets in her broken skin it stings. please help.

I'm 45 and one month ago I woke up with my eyes swollen shut, having had an allergic reaction to something (still not sure what). My eyes ballooned out and now that the swelling is gone I'm left with crepey wrinkles I never had before on my lids and under the eye. Like elephant skin. I need to find a good inexpensive, natural hypoallergenic eye cream but I'm afraid to try anything new since they still itch a bit. I'm overwhelmed with TMI on the Internet and I don't know what products to believe in since all of them seem to claim to be the greatest answer. HELP! :( Any feedback would be VERY much appreciated. Sorry if this is a repeat question. I rarely use this Yahoo thing.
