Skin Conditions - December 2006

I have ths boil on my armpit that is just been getting bigger and hurts really bad. What can i do to get rid of it or to stop the pain?
Also about how long do they last?

I am what some used to call a "hairy beast". My genetics predispose me to grow excessive amounts of hair all over the body. I am in very good shape so for awhile now I've been waxing about once every two months, full body. One thing that always happens though is I get ingrown hairs. I use a luffa but that does not stop it from happening. Usually I'll wake up and have a random white head on my body and have to pop it and underneath is the hair. I dig it from under the skin with a needle and then use a tweezer to pull it out. Does anyone know of anyways to prevent ingrown hairs?

I woke up this morning with a pain just below my eye. Then, in the mirror I noticed it was medium pink colored. Just hours later, my tear duct began to swell. It's only in my right eye though. I haven't hit anything, or been near something I'm allergic to. What's up?

Poor Mr.GorgeousFluffpot. He overdid it on our recent holiday in the sunshine and now, back in the UK, he's starting to peel and leaving big flakes of dry skin on the floor, in the bath, on the sofa and in the bed (yuk and double-yuk).
I am tempted to take a Brillo pad to Mr. GF's nude body in order to scrape this all off but he pleaded with me to ask you lot out there - in Yahoo Answers-land - to find a better and less painful way to solve this.
So, before I take the Brillo pad to him (and you'll be able to hear him scream in China, believe me), what do you suggest?

They are the pimples that u can't really pop cause they are under the skin. They hurt really bad. They get eally big to. They only way to get rid og them somtimes is to stick a needle in them and go in a ways just to get the grows stuff out and then they dry up and go away. But most of them u can't do that.
Help please!

So, in the past I have gotten plantar warts removed from the bottom of my foot from a doctor using liquid nitrogen to freeze them off.

I am soon running out of health insurance and am wondering if I could freeze warts off with dry ice? Wouldn't it do, in essence, the same thing?

I sweat bad! I've tried all different kinds of deodorant and anti-perspirant and nothing seems to get the job done. The stick stuff just flakes right off and the clear stuff just makes it worse. The spray kind seems to work the best but still i end up with wet arm pits before the day is over. I don't know what else to try. Someone please tell me that they have had this problem and know what will help.

Im a 16 year old male with moderate acne.(I feel as though Im writing an advertisement for the local paper) The acne just covers my cheeks and chin and my nose is very red and has loads of blackheads. My paarents keep telling me that it will go with time and everyone has spots as a teenager but Ive had them since I was 13 and they wont go away, theyre startng to piss me off (The spots not my parents) . I feel as though I have tried everything, washing my face with soap and water, a load of different face washes, a load of different creams, benzoyl peroxide which I heard about on acne.org, Itried that clear skin regimen but I couldnt stand the stickiness of the moisturiser. I tried witch hazel. Nothing seems to work.(Neither do my parents, lazy bastards) Could you please help me? Feel free to comment on the comedy Ive thrown in, I want to be a comedian?

I bite my nails .. I tried the nail polish, but eventually end up biting that, too. For 2007, I want to have great nails and hands. I am very determined to do it and my mom says she will support and help in whatever to stop this habit. I also bite my skin near the fingertips. I know it sounds disgusting and unsanitary and that's why I want to stop. I heard about the dangers that lurk around when I do bite it. Will anyone help me and support? Please if you have suggestions, name them as much as you can. And nothing silly please, or don't post it at all.

My question is, if there is any medical insurance plan out there that will cover accutane. If there is, about how much would you have to pay out of your pocket for the accutane? Also....does the veteran hospital have a dermatologist section? Is there any way I can get accutane thru them? Please dont write back saying i need to take this instead or reminding me about the side effects. I had take accutane before, and its the only thing that has ever worked on me. reasoning this skin dryenes it cames to the hair loss, i send him to the pediatrician,he said it will start regenerating, but it need time.He prescribe me som creams but no results from that cure. I started treating with KETOKONAZOLE.
