So, in the past I have gotten plantar warts removed from the bottom of my foot from a doctor using liquid nitrogen to freeze them off.

I am soon running out of health insurance and am wondering if I could freeze warts off with dry ice? Wouldn't it do, in essence, the same thing?

You can get freeze off treatments for warts over the counter now a days. Check your local drug store of Wal-mart.

Don't use the dry ice. You could do yourself more harm than good there.

ok, how big's the wart?? smaller then your fingertip??? i have a home remedy that works good on warts. I have had like 3 or 4 of them and the remedy has worked... if you take an aspirin and crush it, make it powder like then pour it over the wart. After that, use some tape to cover it up, be sure the tape is tight enough around the skin so that no air is going in, but not so tight to where you are cutting your blood circulation. After a day or 2 the aspirin starts working its way into the wart and it will start to tingle. About a day or so of the tingling and then it will be time to remove the tape and let it breathe. The wart should be white because of the aspirin. After a few days, it turns purple or black and dies and then either will fall off or you can peel it off... I think it might be too late to change your DR appointment but that's for future reference right there...

OW. Don't do that. It's not sanitary, and you could wind up with a nasty infection, if not worse.

There are home kits to freeze off warts, now. Try those.

I am absolutely not kidding you with this one; I really did this. I had one that kept coming back. My Dad and I got a Dremel tool with a small grinder bit. We started working at it a little at a time over a couple days. Only until I could just begin to feel the grinding. After we got to the core, it never came back. It never hurt, as I never went too far at a time and it was over with permanently after just a few days.
