Some deoderants can cause damage or a rash in the arm pit for days. What do other people use under their arms other than the commercial deoderants?

I am looking for something to use on my face after shaving and even just after washing my face, as i find it keeps my skin feeling better, but i cant use stuff like lubriderm as it seems to make my face very oily which is gross... i have been using Aloe gel for the last year and it works, but someone told me that was uncommon, and sometimes the aloe gives a burning sensation and can leave the skin a red tone from irritation. Is there any kind of gel or lotion for the face specifically made to prevent dry facial skin? i just need the skin to be moist after using my facewash, which i use obviouosly to prevent pimples... sorry for such a vague question, but im a dude so i dont know much about skin and health products

I have tried Benedryl, does not help. Oatmeal helps short term but my face is still red, hot, itchy, swollen. Now I'm trying cortisone. Any other suggestions? I don't have a doctor so I can't be seen. The rash isn't spreading through my body it's just on my face. Any help will do.

My daughter (2yrs old with thick long hair) has bad dandruff. I use Selsun Blue sensitive skin when I was her hair. The dandruff goes away for a while. Her scalp starts itching and she of course scratches it and it becomes red. She then gets these little sores and scabs in her scalp. Does anyone know what this can be?

My best friend suffers from TS. Turners Syndrome, and she has had this since she was born. I'm not sure the question I'm about to ask has anything to with TS, but I just wanted to fill you in on her conditions. OK, Jane has spurrs in her feet, and she cut her foot on glass about 2 years ago. She had to have surgery, it was her first. Since then she has had 6 times where her foot and leg has had a severe infection in it. Outside her leg gets red and swollen, she has a fever and she is in severe pain. The doctors havn't really given her a straight answer on why this keeps occuring. I feel because she had ts, in the summer she never wear shorts, because she doesn't want to be ambarassed, and she won't put her hair up because she has a webbed neck. The webbed neck doesn't have anything to do with this, but not letting her legs breathe when it's hot it not good. Legs sweat they need to breathe, and so does her feet, and she doesn't let them. That I thought could be way it keeps occuring.

I have had ongoing problems with slight swelling of my eyelids. I went to my optometrist & he told me that it was from an eye infection. I took the eye drops that he gave me & the problem went away temporarily, but came back in about a week. This kept going on for almost 2 months. I would take the drops again, it would improve & then return.
I got another opinion from an optamologist who told me that the condition was caused from wearing my contacts overnite, even though I NEVER wear contacts while I'm sleeping. He prescribed the same drops.
Frustrated, I went to another optamologist who diagnosed me with blepharitis. He gave me a pamphlet about it, & prescribed Patanol(an antihistimine eye drop) , Restasis(increases tear production), & Doxycycline(antibiotic). I also have to use eyelid scrubs twice a day. I have been on this treatment for over a month & I still have some problems with my right eye, even though it's not as bad as it was.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have long hair, down to the lower middle of my back. When I sleep my head sweats and has started forming acne at the base of my head where the hairline starts. I try pulling my hair up over my pillow when I sleep to lessen the sweating but nothing helps.

*No I'm not cutting my hair all off before anyone suggests that*

I would just like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do about this. It is now starting to itch and getting on my nerves. Thanks for any help.

hi,
i am 25 year old guy i suffer from skin tags which is spreading all over my face, neck and armpits. i feel very awkward when i go out with my friends. i have to wear sunglasses to cover the skin tags which are around my eyes and day by day these are growing bigger and bigger.
my friends advised me to have a lazer treatment but it's very expensive which i cant afford.
My mother also has skin tags on her face and neck, and i suppose this might be a hereditory problem.
please suggest some remedy which would cost reasonable and has a permanent cure.

I've had the whole psoriasis problem for years and have not yet found a way to treat it. I've tried lotions, bath oils, and even went as far as the holistic methods and nothing works. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!!

We dont have animals that would bring the fleas in. He is the only one out of the 5 of us who have these "bites". He had this same thing over the summer and we were told it was chicken pox. Now they are back. Last night he slept in our bed and he woke up this morning with 4 new ones. I cant not figure this out!! He is itching them and I put anti-itch cream on them but they keep appearing. My other two kids dont have any nor do my husband or I. Please, any help would be great!!! Thanks!!
